They went together very quickly. I don't sew so I glued the hat on. I also put a dap of glue (hot glue) to keep the hat 'down' on the side. Mine didn't want to stay, the person I cased from - her example was perfectly laid down. But I liked it glued down too. I made about 10 last night but I will make more. I just started late and needed to get to bed.

This snowman face is so adorable!! You did a great job :-D Can you tell me where you found it? Thanks in advance!
Deborah, if you're looking for the colored version then you can find it here: Laurie Furnell: Snowman Freebie.... I also created a B&W version for those like me who don't have a color printer: http://sdrv.ms/OWPPFK. You can resize the image in a Word document.

These are soooo cute. Thanks for sharing them. Where to do buy Rolos at a good price?
You can't buy rolos at a good price, but I got them at Sam's Club and I don't know what they cost. They were probably a bit less than $1 each, but I'm not sure (my friend bought them for me and lost the receipt!).
I don't know what I will charge, I cannot get $3-$4 for the snowman here so I charge around $2 for the big ones. (the candy bar is about 50 cents so I'm still making some money on them).
I think they will sell for $2.50 (the rolo santas).
sometimes Walgreens has buy one get one free on their candy bars. If they had that, then buy rolos with that. But it would take a while to get a stock of them!
While I was waiting for a reply about the Rolo prices, I called Smart and Final. Their quoted price was $21.99 for 36. If I did the math right, that figures to be 6l cents each. I think that is a very good price.
I just ran out to the dollar store to get rsvp pens (2 in a pack.) While I was there I looked for Rollos but didn't have any. They did have Mentos so I got one to experiment with and they also had tic tacks (2 in a package). I'll check Walmart for Rollos.
I'm not a member of Sams or Cosco. They are both a 40 minute drive and it's just my DH and I now so we thought it wasn't worth it.

Oh I forgot there were that many in the box! Duh! I'm sure it was around $20 for the box I got from Sam's.
Carole, Thanks for spreading the news about mini gel pens. I just ordered my bunch online and will pick up later in the week. Thanks, Maria
PS: I am looking for the name of a card tutorial that was on SCS. It was cut in different ways so that you could attach photos/stamped images on different parts of the card and some of the parts would pop out. It might have had 5 or 6 different panels. If anyone could tell me the name of that card, I would greatly appreciate it!

I did up some monster peppermint patties tonight, found it on Stampin Connection - CASED from Traci DeGoller. Very cute if I may so myself! They are in my gallery if you want to check them out.

No time to look for a link but you might be looking for something called a photo wallet. Hope the lead works out for you.

Glad I was of some help. And I'm glad tat2girl provided a link because I may make some as gifts this year (not doing any fairs yet but love getting inspiration for if/when it works out to try my first)

Mary, those are so cute!! I also like your gift card holders the ones with the belly band holders and the ones with the ornaments on the front. How did you make them?
I cased the belly band from someone on Stampin Connection. Here is her instructions:

Hi All,
Here's the basic CS measurements. These are super easy, quick and fun! The DSP really makes them cute! Have fun...Heidi
Gift Card Base - 4x8-1/4, score at 2-1/4, 5-3/8
Gift Card pocket - 2x4
Belly Band - 1-1/2x9-1/4, Score at 2-3/8, 6-5/8
Now her instructions called for a piece (the 2x4) that glued on the inside for the gift card. I missed that part. I just folded the bottom up and glued the sides for the gift card.
If you are on Stampin connection look her up. If you aren't let me know and I will post her picture of her inside so you can see what I'm talking about. Mine then were a bit shorter than hers but they worked just fine. And that style sold really well at the craft fair.
Thanks so much for the link to the snowman from Laurie Furnell, and your b&w version, too. I've bought up a bunch of 'famiy size' chocolate bars that the Save-on Foods here had on sale, so I'd like to turn them into snowmen ;)

Thanks Mary, I think I can make one from this. I did find her on Stampin' Connection, but not the gift card holder. I found her blog and she has some neat things on there!
i did the snowmen/hershey bar things. i need to get a picture uploaded. i wasnt wild for the coal mouth, so i painted my own snowman, left off the heart and added a heart punch after they were wrapped. i also cut the wrap longer, so i could seal the ends with my crimper.
i think this little 4 hour show was mostly successful. i made about $240 after my $20 table fee. i dont know, does that seem ok? my husband was disappointed, he was planning his retirement.

if you go on Stampin Connection and search for her in the member category (under home) she shows a picture of her gift card holder open on page five of her samples.
But they really are simple to do, without that extra pocket. When you cut and score you will see - just fold up the bottem and there's your holder. But again she added the extra piece.
On that same page she has the other gift card holder like I did - I got my pattern from Archiver site, but I cased her punch art on some of my things. Pengun and Reindeer I think she has on them - very cute and very easy.
The Archiver patten I can't find for you though - something is off on their site - and mine are packed in my car from the last sale.
But basically I just measured the size of the gift card and added a couple inches all around for the bottom layer, and the top layer of the card was a bit smaller. Punched out a little half circle to pull the card out of, taped around (not all around though!) and ta da! If I find the measurements I'll post them. Oh and I corner rounded edges too.

Wow! I think that's good! I have a five hour small show this Sat. It's my first, and I'm doing it with two friends. I'm so excited!! I'd be happy if I sell 50 dollars worth.

Thanks Mary I found it!
Tomorrow I'm going to finish up the current batch of tea bag and cookie holders, then I'm going to start on gift card holders.
there are only about 30 vendors at this show. i would like to find one more inexpensive show here quickly. my schedule is starting to fill up with holiday stuff already.
i just gave the $240 back to my husband that way he cant complain too much when i buy more stuff!
I'd be over the moon if I paid $20 for a stall and made $240 profit. Here, my friend & I do them together and we're likely to pay twice that for the space and make a 1/2 of that profit!

That is very good for a small brief show!
You made me giggle with the retirement comment!! lol

I think it's awesome! I would call mine a hit if I had that

Same here. None of my booth fees are less than $50 and from where I'm looking at this is "sky high" profit
A friend gave me the link to a video on how to make covers for hand sanitizer. They are cute, but ... the hand sanitizer at bath and body works is 1.00 each. So what would you sell it for 2.00? Would people pay 2.00 for it?
OMG!!! I waited way too long to print out the snowman wrappers I thought i had saved on my computer...the little hershey bar ones...does anyone have a link or can you post them....Show is tomorrow, I know, I know, I'm an idiot but I am desperate!
i am thinking of doing another show this fall, see if i can get in somewhere. i made a couple of good contacts: 2 about wedding favors and one from a gallery downtown that wants a few things for christmas. there are just not too many weekends that are not already filled with something from now until xmas. this is probably why i stamp and create in the middle of the night, its the only time i dont have a meeting or someone doesnt need something from me!

Post 204 and Post 227 have links I can't seem to get either to open myself.
Would also like a good link if anyone can post it again.
