Help! I'm looking for a 2007 calendar template to be used with regular and mini CD cases. These are the single pages that can be printed on your computer, and then embellished. They fit into a CD case.
Does anyone have one they could share?
Pretty please?

Hello Great Minds of Stamping -
Thanks for the link for the calendars! They are fantastic! I, too, am looking for Christmas gift ideas, but have never made cd calendars before. What type of cd cases do you need to use? Are there specific ones? Just wondered...would love to try this! Thanks!
Lynn
I have these already made up in word files and posted in the downloads forum if anyone needs them. I have the regular sized CD calendar template and a smaller template I used with 4" coasters.

I did a search online for "CD Calendar" and found that there seem to be specific CD cases that will flip around to hold the calendar. I tried this with some of my regular (standard size) CD cases but they don't flip around, just open flat. The CDs I found were sold in lots of 100 (I don't need that many). So.. I searched on eBay and someone has them in lots of 10.
okay - I just got my CD calendar pages uploaded into my gallery! I use the slimline jewel cases and I really can't remember where I got them - it's been over a year.
Did you have to "force" the CD case to open that way?? I just looked in our office and we had a brand new pack of Memorex slimline cases. I opened the pack, but the cases only open flat, they don't flip back like the great examples in your gallery. (This is the part that stumps me.)

Yeah... I did see that. :( That's why I'd like to find out what other people are using. Although I was thinking that since the total amount would be around $12-13.... that would figure out to about $1.30 per case which is pretty cheap for a gift. (Outrageous for storing UM stamps, but an inexpensive gift.) But there has GOT to be a cheaper source.
I checked both of the types of standard CD cases that I've been using for my UM stamps and neither of them fold back either. One is from OfficeMax and the other from a cheap source online.

I had to coax it along - actually I thought I was gonna break it - LOL!! It works though, so I would try it with what you have at the office.

they are .24 a piece and as long as you order 25.00 or more you don't get dinged the extra handling fees. They have CD and Mini CD cases that go all the back. Just make sure you get the ones under "specialty products", they are listed as calendar cases.
Well... phhhbllllbttttzzz.. I wish there was a local supplier. That just kills me to spend a lot of shipping... and to get to the $20 minimum, I have to order 84 calendar CD cases with $16 shipping. (I know, I'm whining.) LOL I'm starting to think that maybe using the 4 x 6 acrylic photo frames would just be easier. The software mentioned above can be used to create 4 x 6 calendars as well. I have a drawer full of magnetic 4 x 6 frames. Although I was able to successfully switch around a regular CD case so that it will work as a display and there's room to store the extra months in the tray area behind. (But I can't close the CD at all.)

Thanks for your great responses to my question. I will do some more "research" into it. In response to using acrylic frames - I saw this done at a craft show last weekend, and it looked really cute - both magnetic and the free standing. Like you said, the only down side is that you don't have a space to store the extra months...hmm...wheels are turning.
That what I was wondering, is where you put the extra months. Has anyone use the CD cased that hold 2 CD's or maybe figure out a way to attach a second CD case to the bottom of the one that you use for the calendar. I know that that would double the price of the gift, but cases are pretty cheap.
I was thinking about what I just said. I went and got a second case. If you take the second case apart and break the tabs off, the the top will fit on the bottom and make storage for the additional months. I don't know if this will work on all CD cases, but it works on the ones that I have. I hope this makes sense to everyone. I wish I could send a picture.
