TLC955 double stamp die cut 06/12/2023
Happy June everyone...already the 12th!!!! Sheesh. Our TLC for today is a new one to me, maybe not so for you, but I really enjoyed the results. Basically the technique is to stamp something, background stamp, floral, whatever you want, twice on two pieces of cardstock. Stamp them exactly the same way. Then use a die to diecut one of them and layer it on top of the uncut one, lining up the stamping. The die should be a kind of lattice style die so that the uncut piece will show through, giving your image dimension. Finish with a diecut sentiment or whatever you want. Here is the video by Gina K:

It's helpful if you come back and leave a link on this thread, especially in case you made a typo and people may not find your card. If you're not sure how to link your card on the thread here, here's how: 1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one window for your card and one for this thread. 2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link. 3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on) 4. Click EDIT. Click COPY 5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE. |

Love this technique Jean. Another one for my very long list. I have some dies I think would work well with the technique. TFS. Hugs

Hello Jean. Thank you for sharing this technique. I watched the video and it luckily rolled into the next video about the same technique but with dsp instead of stamps. I was a bit limited in proper supplies for this challenge.

TLC955 Surfing
went DIY with this- used a finger loop xacto knife for fussy cutting and a ruler to mark my squares- cutting out segments and popping up this panel. Added fussy cut surfers, and I made my own shadow sentiment with more fussy cutting and tape runner. Here's Surfing

Thanks to everyone who has joined in on this TLC. I'm really enjoying your work. Keep 'em coming!

This was a challenge because I couldn't find a suitable die so I used a single die and cut it out three times.
