Hello and Welcome to another TLC Challenge.
I have the pleasure of hosting this week and the challenge I'm giving you is called:
Torn Paper Stenciling
So, as most of you already know, I love stenciling and finding different ways to use them.
Here are the steps to doing the Torn Paper Stenciling.
1. First pick out a stencil with an overall design or if you don't own any stencils, use a large die cut with a patterned design.
2. Use a piece of scrap paper and tear into narrow strips to fit across the front of your card panel.
3. Lay down the torn strips of paper over your card front panel, secure if needed, then the stencil next and ink over the whole thing.
3. Lift the stencil and the torn pieces of paper off and move the torn paper strips to cover some of the inked areas you just did.
4. Replace the stencil, matching up the pattern and ink again with another colour.
5. You can repeat this process as many times as you like, to create an interesting background for your card.
6. Finish off your card with an image or a sentiment over the torn paper stenciling.
I hope you can play along and have fun with today's challenge!
