Years ago, during one of my first Hope You Can Cling To (HYCCT) Challenges, there was a challenge to create a "camo" background using a single stamp that is stamped all over the background panel using different ink colors (same family of color or similar) to create a camouflaged look.
This weekend I was playing with a Valentine set and remembered that challenge. I thought it would be a super fun to re-visit that challenge for this week's technique lovers challenge. It was so fun and I love the final look!
Since today is Valentine's, I went with hearts but you can go with what ever image you want to. I can't find the tutorial, but you randomly stamp an image in various shades of ink all over to cover the background to create a camo look; then decorate any way you wish . For fun, and for your reference, HERE is the link to that HYCCT challenge
Soooo - for today's challenge, create a "camo" background using an image and ink of your choice.
Don't forget to upload your card to the technique gallery also.
Remember to use the keyword TLC834 when you are uploading. It's helpful if you come back and leave a link on this thread, especially in case you made a typo and people may not find your card.
If you're not sure how to link your card on the thread here, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.

Hi All - The challenge page is no longer available so I can't give the details from it but just in case you want to see the gallery for that HYCCT Challenge it is can be found at - Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I love this challenge, Lyn, and it's one of the reasons I took up stamping. Fast, fun and effective! Thanks for helping me design a card that I'll have to make more of! TLC834 EPIC FAIL by ArtzadoniStudio at Splitcoaststampers by Lori "Artzadoni"
I think there must be a problem with the image server because the gallery home page is blank, and all member galleries. I'm sure it will be resolved shortly.
