Here is the link to my try at it. It is so nice to be back in the swing of thing Beths.
I am not as happy as I could be with the color combo I used but the card turned out ok. I forgot to list the sparkle pen I touched up the butterfiles and flowers. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I hope this one counts for the challenge. I did this a couple of months ago when I felt like stamping but didn't want to mess with cutting CS for layers. I just layerd the stamps. I needed to make a lot of thank you cards so these went pretty fast.
I'm looking forward to trying another one tonight. I have yet to use my Floral BG stamp since I got it in April so I'm anxious to see if I can do anyting with that. Happy Stampin.
I really should have looked at some of the cards already submitted for this challenge before attempting mine - y'all are blowing me away with your creativity on this challenge!
I started to upload my card and then stopped. It is BAD really bad, But I just wanted you to know I tried . I really did. Most of my attempts are in the wastebasket. . I will go admire the rest of yours for today.

OMG! I did this card up tonight and then I got a response saying - great card for the challenge - I didn't even know what the challenge was LOL. I'm so excited, this is the first challenge I've ppted in! Okay, I'm going to work on number 2, hope the micro beads were okay. Here is the link Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Yay! I got a chance to play today! I was so excited that I was able to play that I missed the part about no embellishments as well. Luckly, I was able to just slide it off since it was ribbon that I had added. I cased myself from another card I did awhile back.
Oh My Goodness . . . this was so hard to do!!! My brain is just not programmed to stamp this way, and I ended up with two cards for the garbage collectors (LOL) and one that is 50% acceptable. Now I am having layer withdrawal - I need to go tear some paper and set some eyelets!!
The hardest part was knowing when to quit, because it is too easy to be cruising along with something decent and then BAM!, I stamp something wrong. No embellishments to hide mistakes. They are just out there, all naked and exposed:o
Here is MyNakedCard (pending as of midnight)
Here are a few old cards from my gallery that fit the challenge. I had to remind myself that it's not as difficult as I made it tonight! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Here is my last one, it just dawned on me that maybe we were only supposed to post one card. Someone please pm me and let me know. Anyway, 1st time bo bo, here's the link:Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
TFL!
I did it I am soo pleased that I took the challenge and made a card with *gasp*...NO LAYERS;) LOL I took a look at all the beautiful cards here and thought sponging & masking were the keys to making it look dimensional. Take a look.
Thanks for the challenge, Beth. I had wanted to try this again, so here is my new submission, modeled along the lines of the chicken layout I did earlier. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
