make sure to put TLC120 (all one word) in the keywords section of your description...that should pull your card up on the gallery search for the challenge! |
This was fun, although time intensive. Don't know if I'd cut out all of those squares again. I may have to try the scoring technique.
Baroque Tiling |
Here' a 2nd card for the challenge....something more traditional:
http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...580363?cat=705 I created the tiles with the polished stone technique and glossy White cs. ~~~~TFL! |
I keep seeing tile grid and Scor-Pal, what are these and where do you find them? I like anything that takes less time!!!

O... M... Garsh, Beth! Just got back from Cub Scouts Day Camp. Left this morning at 7a.m. and got home at 5:30p.m. Can't play. Headed over to in-laws to have dinner and pick up DD.
I just had to say O... M... Garsh! This is such a cool technique! I've only had a chance to look at Cammie's sample and I am SO impressed! I can't wait to try it! |
Here's something

It was a busy day but I finally got this done and it was a great challenge Beth!

This looks like a lot of fun. If I get time this week I'm going to try it.

Remind me to NEVER attempt to do cracked glass on so many pieces at a time! I loved this challenge, though! Thanks, Beth!
Cracked Glass Thanks |

I went out on a limb and made a card thats so far from my usual style for this one. I had in my head what I wanted to make and it didn't quite pan out then I saw this set on my desk and knew I had to use it for tiles. It would make some cool coasters for sure!
My Baroque-en Tiles |
Very fun technique, I had never tried it before! Lots of work but great results! Here is my card Mexico Dream.

After throwing away the ugliest card I have ever created, I started again from scratch -- well, almost from scratch, I used the same colors. I'm a little happier with this one -- http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...0&ppuser=72594

My first challenge EVER! Not perfect, but I'm glad I stretched myself to try something new! I can't get the picture to link, the site seems to be acting wonky and giving me an error message that just isn't right. But, great challenge!

I made two cards for the challenge. I actually made three cards today, first cards I have made for awhile. even though it took me all day long off and on. Here is COOPER'S CARD and CALE'S CARD Thanks for looking..

I was just looking at all the variations of tile effects and thought I would share this scrapbook page I have in my gallery from several years ago.
I didn't cut anything to make the tiles, except a piece of foam which I used to stamp colors to look like mosaics. http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...0&ppuser=23376 I know it's not what the challenge is, but it was fun to do at the time. I am looking forward to trying the methods described here, but just haven't been in a stamping mood lately. |
thanks soooo much, Beth, this was fun and so easy!!! http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...0&ppuser=71773
combined w/ FS18 ~ TFL!!! |
Finally able to finish and post my challenge card sooo late :(
My Groutless table and such |
I did the challenge a bit wrong but I'm giving myself too hard a time. Some people put in mosaic tile pictures, right?
