Splitcoaststampers.com - the world's #1 papercrafting community
You're currently viewing Splitcoaststampers as a GUEST. We pride ourselves on being great hosts, but guests have limited access to some of our incredible artwork, our lively forums and other super cool features of the site! You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: peeps321/Polly
Our Teaparty this week was requested by Lisa-Shoe Girl. Her sister-in-law Alisia has a dear friend and coworker who is losing her battle with cancer. Alisia is devastated. Theresa has been a postal carrier for the USPS for 30 years and her favorite color is blue. She loves the car races and gambling, and she is a twin.
Challenge: Since Theresa is a twin, use two of something on your card. It could be two images, two embellishments, two shades of blue, etc. As her condition is serious, please no get well greetings.
CARD TYPE/THEME: Thinking of You, Sending Caring Thoughts, Hugs

Polly--thanks for hosting this challenge. Here is my card, Two Cups of Hugs for Theresa.

Polly - thanks so much for a fairly easy challenge. My vision is really problematic these days so even a simple card is a struggle (next surgery is in 6 weeks so hoping for improvement soon!)
But I really did want to make a card for Theresa. Here's mine:
We just went thru end stage cancer with my SIL, and the Tickle was so uplifting- she loved it so much! I hope our cards put a smile on Teresa's face!
I stamped this mice/balloon image at a friends- I visited Hetty in Amsterdam in 2019, so happy to finally get it colored up! The P.O. box was stamped at a friends home in Florida about 5 years ago..... the sentiment- is from one of my Hero Arts sets. Nice to use up my stash!
