Again I will say thank you ladies for sending cards to brighten Melanie's days. She has now died and is with her Creator, LORD and Savior.
I am blessed to have known her for a short time (1/6th of her life) but we had a deep friendship that continued to blossom even through the last 3 years of ovarian cancer.
I do not know how to mourn the loss of such a dear friend, I have never had a friend younger than me die but I do know she was a joy to me!

I'm so sorry, Faye. I'm glad that we had a chance to send cards to her. Linda has said it best, she will be alive in your heart and memories. Just today we were remembering a dear friend who died of cystic fibrosis aged 32...and my mother was still alive then, so it's a long time ago. {{{hugs}}}
So sorry for your loss. Saying good-by to a friend tomorrow who passed on Tuesday. It is never easy to say good by, and our grief and sadness and sense of loss is very real. Just hold on to the memories and be grateful for time we had. hugs, Mary
