Default Uploading Images

Newbie here! I just got my box of new things yesterday ... 11 stamp sets and gobs of great accessories!! I'm hoping to get creative sometime next week (before heading to Disneyland for the "last hoorah" of the summer) and would really like to upload some of my images. Here are my questions:

1. Do you have to upload an image twice to put it in your personal member gallery and another catagory (like A-C sets), or is it automatically added to your member gallery?

2. I see that you can upload multiple images - do they all have to go the same category?

3. Is there an additional page to fill out with stamp sets, CS colors, ink colors, accessories, directions, etc.?

4. When scanning images, am I responsible for adding the correct copyright to the scans or is that something that the administrator does before posting?

5. If I am responsible for attaching the copyright, how do you ladies do it? Do you type it and just put it on the scanner with your samples? Or is there a better/easier way?

I know these may seem like silly questions, but hopefully there will be more than just me that benefit from the answers

I love this place ... can't get enough! Child neglect is beginning to become an issue in my house :? And now that my new things have come my kids don't stand a chance!! Truth be told it is me who suffers because I am the type to stay up all night and work after they go to bed. I am a demo of 4 1/2 years who is in the process of restarting my business after a move last year (husband finished grad school ... hooray!!) and a new baby (10 months old now and into everything!!). My stampers 10 group has kept me alive this past year, but I am thrilled to have booked my first workshop for August. Can't wait to get back at it!! You have all added to my enthusiasm - THANKS!! My downline turned me onto this site (thanks Melisa!!) and now I can't stop ... sounds like a common problem amongst this group :P

1. No, you only have to upload the image once. It will automatically go into your member gallery, too.
2.Yes, if you upload two or three cards at the same time, they all have to be in the same category.
3.Yes, there is a place for adding all the information about the "recipe".
4.No, at least for now, you don't have to add a copyright, but that may change in the future.

1. no. it goes into your member gallery automatically, no matter which category you place it in. the member gallery is just a separate listing of all the cards, but organized by member instead of category.
2. each upload needs to have a category assigned.
3. the upload form has a place for adding all the necessary info
4. don't worry about adding the copyright. in the past we've included the copyright info at the bottom of the page. in the near future we'll be adding this to each gallery page, just below the image itself.
5. I think that's how most people do it, but see #4

good questions all, and welcome to the community!
