Default Sketches ?

Hello

I am new to SCS & am really loving it! What a wonderful resource!!
I've been stamping for about 10 years, but have not been very active for the last 4-5 years. I've recently joined a stamp club to get me going again!

I saw, in the gallery, something about sketches & followed that link to a wealth of cards & pages! Is there an original page that postst the sketch with a few instructions? How does this sketch idea work? Is it anything like the BH sketches for scrapbooking (in creating keepsakes?)

Thanks,
Nicole S

Hi, Nicole! The weekly sketch challenge is posted on Wednesday (check throughout the day), and we post links to our completed work as replies to the same thread.

All the sketches are located here (Card & Scrapbook Sketch Library by SCSketches at Splitcoaststampers), and Andrea also includes links to the original thread and the link to the card that inspired the sketch. Those who "play" post our cards to the gallery for the appropriate stamp set.

I'm not sure that makes sense... Oh, and note that there are several challenges that appear each week -- one each day, I think!

HI Nicole!

It is exactly like the BH sketches for scrapbooking Use the provided layout with any colors, accessories, and stamps you want. If you can, post what you create. If you can't, let us know that you participated anyway and check out some of hte work that others have done. It is amazing to see how the cards all look SO different even though they use the same basic layout.

HTh!
