Default Precious Smudged Stone

The technique for Precious Smudged Stone has great results!
Emboss an image you want to use in black ep. Then, take a metallic pad (I have always used gold) and dab it all over your embossed image. Take reinkers (2 coordinating colors) and drop 1 or 2 drops of each on your paper, then rub them into the design (use rubber gloves).
After the reinkers are rubbed in, take a paper towel and buff the embossed image. The colors will be mixed with the pigment metallic ink which acts as a resist.
It is hard to describe, but this is a technique I learned from subscribing to a "Technique Junkie" newsletter from the website www.patstamps.com. If you have any other questions you can e-mail me directly.

I have found this website (splitcoast) to be one of the most comprehensive sites avaialable and my questions have always been answered, not to mention their HUGE gallery of ideas! You will get great ideas from this site!
