Hello everybody. I have just joined and I am not used to joining forums but here goes anyhow. I am married with 3 grown up children, 1 of whom has 3 gorgeous boys, they are the light of my life. I love travelling especially to the USA (where I would love to live but they won't have us) so I can stock up on lots of crafting goodies. I was a district nurse but had to retire having susutained 3 slipped discs. I now have a little job with a charity valled Age UK (having a vested interest being of a ''''young age'''') I have only recently got into card making but already the spare room haas been taken over by all my craft stuff. I am looking forward to learning lots from very talented people and looking at lots of lovely cards. Look forward to hearing from anybody.
Take care all you crafters.
Hi Kath from a fellow Lancashire Lass, although I am moving to the US at the end of October!
There are so many fantastic stampers on here, fab projects and everyone is so friendly. I too have just taken up stamping recently - it is frighteningly addictive!
Thanks for replying. Aren't you lucky moving to the US, JUST THINK OF ALL THOSE GOODIES! Are you moving anywhere nice? I am really looking forward to learning lots from SCS because I am not very artistic (dropped art at school as soon as I could, mind you that was centuries ago.
Hi Kath and welcome from down under (New Zealand). Like you this was my first forum, but it is amazing how quickly you will find your way around. Ask any questions - there are heaps of helpful people here. I love that your spare room is now your craft room! Go Kath! Don't worry - you don't need art school to make cards, just have fun!
Stephanie

Don't get me wrong I love Texas but for some reason I have always wanted to be in England...I guess b/c I love the rain and the cloudy days..which are few and far between in the Texas heat!
