Help! (with my favorites gallery)

The images that I have added to my favorites gallery are appearing in multiples. I really like the images but one is enough! I just tried to add a new image in order to double check how many times I clicked on the image; I still got more than one. Also, when I try to remove the extras all of copies of the image disappear. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?
