Wink Copic Marker paper

Hi I am new on splitcoasters. I am looking for a paper that works as well as beckett paper. Only paper that seems to bring out colors and works best with copic markers. Anyone know another paper that works well. I even tried a vellum, which works, but not as well.

Hi Patricia and welcome to SCS. I can't help you with the paper query but I know someone here will be able to. Don't be alarmed if this thread gets moved to another part of the forum for product queries - you will get a link. Anyway have heaps of fun exploring the forum - we are all happy to help!

Most people use Neenah, Gina K's paper or the Copic cardstock that was developed by Sally Lynn MacDonald.

You also want to make sure you're using a good ink that won't smear like Memento.

Oh!! I thought memento was an ink of choice for copics. I'm quite sure many use it with copics - I know I do. The copic cardstock that you mention is fabulous, and so is Neenah's paper. I've not tried Gina K's paper.

I use memento tuxedo black all of the time with my copics - no bleeding at all.

I use Gina K's pure luxury. The Copics don't bleed through the cardstock. And I also only use Momento ink on the stamp that I'm going to color. I've had no bleeding issues.

It is! Maybe my wording was a little weird. Memento is the ink of choice. Sorry if my lack of a comma placement confused anyone!

I use Papertrey Ink's Stampers Select. It has a great weight (110#) but still goes through the printer nicely for digis and works beautifully with Copics.

My 2 cents in support of an Ohio-based small business.

Default copic paper

thanks for your post, this is a new one, you mentioned. I had not heard of the one from papertrey ink. will look into it. thanks for your time. I now use Beckett paper, I can only get at a local stamp store. It seems expensive and $4.99 for 12 sheets. It isn't bad I suppose, but there must be others I thought. It works great, but not always in stock.
thanks again

Default copic marker paper

see, I thought that was a bit much, for something, one might have to use more than a piece. Like when I mess up and have to start again
I appreciate your help and going to check out papertrey, the ink stampers select.
thanks
patricia
