Ladies, I would like to thank all of you that participated in last week's Musical Challenge - Year Of The Cat. I know it's getting to be nicer outside and people aren't wanting to stay inside. However, I appreciate you staying inside to play this challenge with me. Remember, if you have any ideas on making this challenge better, please pm me. I want to hear your ideas. Woo Hoo It's time to announce this week's song. Is everybody ready?? Here we go. This week's song is:
Stamper's Choice
This is the first Stamper's Choice songs we are doing. How it works is simple: you pick a song that is your favorite, or maybe describes who you are, or maybe it simply gives you a creative idea. Whichever the reason, it's your choice. Choose your song, make your creation, post it here in the forum. You can put a sample of the song in your posting if you want to, however, it's not mandatory. Then please share with us why you chose the song you did.
If you are new to the challenge this is how it works. Each Saturday I choose a song. I then ask you to make a card that is inspired by the chosen song. Then post your card here in the forum and we can leave our comments and chat about it. Then next Saturday I will put everyone's name that made a card for this challenge into a drawing. The winner will be the recipient of the cards made for this challenge. Therefore I will ask you to consider sending your card to whomever is the lucky recipient. However, it is NOT mandatory that you send your card out. You may use it for whatever you wish.
Also, please remember in order to have your name put in the drawing you MUST post your card here in the forum before next Saturday.

I have some important information. Please please please write this down so you never ever forget it. If you have a superglue bottle that is gunked up with glue around the tip...never ever try peeling it off with your fingers. However, if you are like me and do it anyways...never ever pull your fingers apart. IT HURTS!!!!!! lol Yes, I really did it. All together now..."DUHHHH DANI"

I am Puff the Magic Dragon lives by the sea, frolicks in the Autumn mist in a land called Honna Lea (sp?) Little Jackie Paper loved that rascal Puff and brought him strings and sealing wax and other fancy stuff....... see a papercrafter!!!

Well ladies, I am off to start my day. I want to work on my card for this challenge. I still haven't settled on a song yet. lol...Then I need to get working on a swap and then it's cleaning the furniture while I watch the race. Wooo I have a full day ahead of me. I wanna go back to bed now. hehe...If Lynn wouldn't have kept me up runnin last night I would have gotten some decent sleep but noooo she kept chasing me so now I am tired. hehe....Huggs ladies.

Good morning ladies. I am having a heck of a time waking up this morning. I finally made it to bed at three in the morning and got back up at six. I'm still tired. So....today is going to be an easy day. I cleaned all day yesterday. So today I have to chill so I don't end up down again. I think I will finish dusting, make some cards and rest. That is going to be my day. Oh I forgot to mention play on SCS and mess with my blog. hehe Whatever y'all are doing today, I hope you have fun doing it. Enjoy you're day!!!!!

Canadian Postal strike: they have been sent back to work. Today the sorters go in and by tomorrow mail will be delivered to the door. It's about time!!!

Okay ladies, I finally decided on a song. My card is inspired by the song "Buy Me A Rose" by Kenny Rogers. I chose this song because it is the song I use to describe myself, I love the simple things in life. If you'd like to hear the song just click on the title above. I've been wanting to try the Polished Stone technique so I thought this was the perfect card for it. I hope you like both the song and the card.
I may do one more. I was just informed that I am supposed to make 50 invites to a wedding celebration. The celebration is Aug. 13 and they want them done by ????. This ought to be a ton of fun.
