Sorry I am a right mess. My body is n what I call histamine overload. Yesterday I can a cold brew tea which I have been drinking for a few summers now. Yesterday my body said no. So I get an itchy patch.. then another.. then another and then my body is about 1/3 itchy. I take a cold shower and stand in front of a fan. I use ice packs on the worst parts. Yup I have to go naked. Today I can wear underwear! My body is still not happy. I need to go really bland food and hope my body calms down. The cold showers and ice helps to prevent hives. Gotta watch everything I eat as well. Am I having fun yet?
Lynn, hope those itchies go away soon! I'm dealing with c-diff from taking antibiotics last month. They prescribed a different antibiotic. The first one killed off the good bacteria. So now I'm taking probiotics and a different antibiotic. I couldnt leave the house for days. I ended up in the ER Monday night. They did a CT scan and said I also have some colitis which is expected with c diff.

I don't remember what a dirty girl is?
I can wear underwear and slippers so that is something. Lots of cold showers. I have aquaphor which is a barrier cream. This allows me to have something on when my son drops off stuff. I am NOT having fun!
Dirty Girl=every month two woman (or men crafters) are invited to be part of the Dirty Dozen. My term runs six months. We are given challenges and create 4-6 cards using that challenge.. Regular scsers can't see these creations until they are released when the next month rolls around. At least I think everyone can see them after that. My term ends in July or August. But I'm a lifetime dirty girl then and I have lifetime fan club membership. It's been fun. I posted a picture of me in my gallery.

Kathy that is great news!!! You know I only do a bit now. Not much at all. I am trying to work with my son's GF to do a father's day card but it is slow going. My son understands what I am talking about but she doesn't. At least we have time.
How is your gut doing? Did you get that tooth fixed?
Gut is doing better. Still have the nuisanve tooth. Waiting for appointment. I don't mind waiting as long as I don't get a flare up. The lump on my neck near the jaw has totally gone now.

I have just come home from a grandparents open house at my granddaughter's school. It was the first time they have held it and it was unstructured and a bit disorganized, but it was lovely to get a granddaughter guided tour of the old building.
Yes Lynn, the has been flooding in low lying areas here. Sometimes a closure of sections of the road. I had a flood in my basement. The sump pump stopped running during the night and the battery died on the back up pump, so I woke to an inch of water in the laundry room and it had seeped onto the carpet in the rec room. My son-in-law helped me clean up and got a new marine battery for the back up pump, and things have been well since.
My son also told me they have had very little snow where he lives, north of Denver. Not enough to make it worth the 2 hour drive into the mountains to go snowboarding.
I'm glad things are improving for you healthwise, Lyn and kathy. Kathy, congratulations on becoming a Dirty girl. Was it a lot of work? Die you get stretched out of your comfort zone at times. I'm sure it was rewarding, and the perk of having free membership will be great.

Thanks Ina. It was a bit confusing at first but I'm catching on. By the time I get it down my turn will be over!. I basically create four to six cards a month for my 6 month term. They give us a theme and I use that theme and post them to the secret gallery. Yes I love the lifetime fan club membership. I always paid by check and it took so long for me to get it mailed out and then to get it updated on my account so I don't have to worry about that anymore.

Hi everyone. I was organizing my crap room. the trick they said was to take everything out and put it into categories. Took about 2 weeks and my back was hurting. It is not all cleaned up yet but quite a bit went to the nearest school.
I have been trying to make a card for Milady dad and I am stuck
the other project is Christmas cards for my friend. They will be sold in November for a dog rescue group. This is the basic ideas.. any thoughts
I haven't been on much lately. Tuesday around 2 a.m. I had a dream and I ended up on the floor by my bed! I kicked with so much force that when I hit a knob on the dresser and bent the bolt! I could not bend it back by hand! I went to the doctor today because the pain is bad. She sent me for X-rays and luckily nothing is broken. She took a picture of it to show me since I can't see my back. It's so tender to the touch and is getting very black and blue.

I have been exhausted all the time. I finished some cards for my friend and put the stuff away for a while. I am doing a crochet water bottle holder that I need to finish for June. Well actually I just found where I had put the stuff away! LOL
My back feels better. I don't go through the roof when you touch my shoulder blade. I got my second shingles shot. The pharmacist asked what the mark was on my arm. I hadn't noticed! It was a bruise probably from the fall!

So yesterday I needed to find somewhere else to park my car for the day. Parking is $100 a month! Ended up at my son's place where there was parking and water! Today I wake up and splash copper sludge on my face. Yup the water is off AGAIN. So this is how I was myself.. yup I pay $2000 a month for this priviledge
Murphy's law is having a ton of fun with me! I am trying to get into my tax account, I haven't been able to get in since it was hacked. So yesterday I tried again. Just my luck we had 5 brown-outs and then around 1am the power went off completely. The system doesn't like it when you keep losing power while trying to authenticate! Piled blankets on my bed cause it feels cold. yup this temp is cold for this time of year.
Tried again today and I am supposed to take pictures of things and it isn't working. I ran out of swear words so I am gonna stop for today! LOL
How is everyone? Quite cool here. I have water but no heat and my place is down to 68f. How is everyone else's weather?
It's cool here too but I like the cooler temps. However my body doesn't like them or rainy weather so I've been struggling. Then both of our phones have been having issues so we are now learning new phones. We got motorolas again so a lot is the same but there's some tweaking I need to do. I mostly only use the phones for calls, checking prices at walmart, and texts so not a big deal.
