So any one doing anything exciting tonight? We are having a quiet evening, after our travels we just want to relax, we did think of having an early meal out but everywhere seems to be doing a special menu where you stay for the whole evening.
Hope all of you have a safe evening and day tomorrow. Not much entertainment much for us. One of DDs friends will be over for a little while. I've made a pot of French Onion Soup, a special treat. Of course black-eyed peas are on the menu for tomorrow, but we'll likely have a little tonight as well.
Do any of you have special New Years Day traditions? my grandmother taught me to have and serve to anyone who comes to our home on NYD to at least have a bite of black-eyed peas.
My totals are updated and my last scrapbook page is uploaded. May have time to make a card today, but know I will tomorrow.

And the cold some of you are having!!!! wow! It's been chilly for us too, mostly 60's and dips into the 40s at night.

Quiet evening with my hubby. Thinking about watching a movie and drinking the bottle of Prosecco from my son and his gf. Too many leftovers to not have them for dinner tonight.
I admit that I long ago lost track of my totals. Maybe I’ll keep up in 2018.
It’s good and cold here in Maryland. High of 20, low of 11. That’s before the wind chill. But I know those north of us have it much worse.
We have relatives in the Minneapolis area. They took a cup of boiling water outside, threw it up in the air, and it froze before it hit the ground. Now that’s cold! I asked them to do it again and send me a video.
When Bob is home we always have prime rib and garlic mashed taters on New Years Day. NYE is all about nibbles and playing games. We love to play card/ board games.
I'm going to play video games and nibble. I don't to black eyed peas but I'm thinking Ham and Beans for supper tomorrow.

I'm starting 2018 with a fresh slate. Setting earning goals. Whatever I earn is all I can spend on new SU. I have one order to place next week before postage goes up. Then I have to USE what I have and whatever I earn is what I can go over my quota in the 2nd quarter.

New years eve, we have a Cinese dinner at our church, followed by a prayer session. New years day, I will be home alone, cooking up a storm to take tothe ski chalet with me on Tuesday. Woo hoo! My son and family are coming up from Texas. I have already warned them about the extreme cold here. The radio called it bone chilling.
It has been around -17 F degrees most of the day... colder first thing in the morning. I even went for a 30 minute walk. Unrecognizable, due to all my clothing!
I hope to get the 2018 thread up and running later tonight. My laptop is not working, so I have to do it with my tablet and i do not know how to add links, or even copy and paste.
Happy new year! Still no voice... Actually less voice.. I am trying to not talk but everyone thinks I am being rude.
Starting 2018 with a clean slate... Hoping very hard that mojo might kick in but it has been a while.
New year's grumpy and I don't plan things together. When he was younger I told him to call me if anything happens. Now that he has his own place the boys all tend to go there.
Me.. I am abusing the laundry room! No one does laundry on New year's Eve... Means I can do 6 loads at once!!! Party in the laundry room!!
