Hey!! I wanted to ask about the deadline, bc. it's getting down to the wire. When you say 'by the 15th' do we have until midnight on the 15th to get our entries uploaded or do we need to have it uploaded before the 15th?
I'm sorry to be even asking this, but my mom is coming for a visit and staying over and I don't know if I'll have time to work on my card today...I neeeeeed tomorrow!! :mrgreen:

Yes you have tomorrow, our judges will start judging on the 16th.;)

Okay....making #2 was a bit trickier since I had to cut up one of the images to make a template for my first card. But I think this was a very successful card.

No, I got 2 of the same image. I cut one image to make a template for the smock and bow for the origami papered card. Then wanting to do another, I created a "baby" bella using the bow and smock. Just hand drew the "body." hehe...lots of fun!
I'm not sure - and Carla's decided to spend less time on the computer- but I don't think this is an SU! image. I remember her saying that she won a "box full of different stamps" so the image may have came from anywhere.
You're making me blush! Wait till you see what kinda prize Carla's came up with! Sounds like it's going to be great too!
I can assure you that my projects are not as cool as your book!! I'll go take pics now and upload them and my one, lonely little card I made with the puffy angel. Hopefully I'll squeak in under the deadline...
And finally, I keep forgetting to add, she's DOTS Miss July. There's no date on her, so I don't know when she was made. I'm glad so many of you liked her. I didn't do this style even when it was in style, so she's pretty hard for me to work with. In fact, this total country look was the reason I chose SU! over DOTS seven years ago when I signed on as a demo. DOTS' whole catty looked exactly like this, and SU! had much great variety and overall a more sophisticated selection.
I hope you all enjoyed yourselves, and thanks so much for playing! Special thanks to Patty for keeping us going. I'm an idea girl, not a facilitator, I lose interest in things very quickly, and without Patty, this never would have made it off the ground! Patty + Carla = the perfect woman!!

Win, lose, or draw, we all did good updating this cute little angel! I still have the second one sitting on my desk to do -- she was buried and I didn't find her until the desk got a clean sweep late last night!
Thanks, Carla and Patty for doing this and yes, I will do it again if we so choose. Will look through my well-seasoned stamps to see what I have that could be done.
