You can punch the holes with a paper piercer and then just stitch through those. I think that would probably be easier than trying to sew with a hand needle.

Here are pictures of the projects from the craft class on Saturday. The card took forever to make, but it is gorgeous and I learned a new technique using peel 'n stick stickers and how to adhere them to sticky back paper that's been adhered to cardstock; then burnish glitter into the open areas of the sticker and then color over the glitter with markers and cut around the image before adhering to project. Fun!

Haven't finished my card yet. But.......I got the stitching part done. now just need to figure out how I am going to incorporate that piece onto my card
Looking for needle and thread! LOL And, looking for the stamp I want to use for the sew it challenge! Found the needle and thread, have not found the stamp yet. :( About ready to give up, but in my search I did find loads of buried treasure, right here in my craftroom! Even found the precut shamrock cards I wanted to use for St. Patrick's Day...guess I'll have them to use next year!
All that digging has me exhausted, so think I'm going to say hello and goodnight.

Had another doctors appointment today, put me on 3 more meds:( I have NEVER taken this much stuff in my whole life. Then, I see another doctor on friday and then have to go to a sleep center at some point. I hate getting old:( Oh and I did learn one very very important thing.........DO NOT take my husband to the doctors with me from now on!!!!!!!!!!!! he tells them everything which means more meds for me????? What is up with men????? All I wanted was something for the headaches and I walk away with more doctors appointments and a whole medicine cabinet:(

I'm taking a personal day from work today so I can catch up on swaps (besides, being home is much more fun than being the only person in a large building while everyone is on spring break, but me!) And, I'm sitting at my computer, have yet to begin stamping, but I'm drinking a cup of Dunkin' Donuts Strawberry Shortcake coffee...yum!
Completed one swap all day today! Was planning on completing more, but I lollygag around...I watched breaking dawn (yes, I'm hooked on the twilight series), did a little house cleaning, and now going to get ready to out with friends this evening. We are going to see Menopause The Musical! One of the gals going said she saw it in Vegas and it's hillarious. Here's a link if ya' wanna read about it. ;)

Sorry ladies...just back from emergency...grumpy and the axe...well the axe won. He has 6 stitches on the back of his had and will have surgery on Friday to reattach the severed tendons...I am just soo drained I am going to have a cuppa and go to sleep
will check in tomorrow after my appointment with the new doc...hope she is worth it
