Here's a pic of the butterfly pendant I made using the kit from craftfantastic
I haven't fastened it to the tray yet 'cause I'm not sure that's the tray I want to put it in, or if I just want to put a bail on it and leave it out of a tray. Could also use as a card or page embellishment.
Today I made the uglies card and I mean the uglies barest card I have ever made, even worse than the very first card I ever made. My SIL is her from VA and she stopped by today (got to spend time with her 3 times and she was only here for 4 days)anyway, she was here to help her DIL, she just lost her son and her DIL was the wife of her son. But it is her DIL's birthday today and she wanted to give her a card (she always has a meaning for when she gives someone something, which is cool) anyway it had to do with lemons and I had 5 min. to throw something together!!!!!????? So i grabbed a yellow piece of cs and a punched piece with another colord piece over it so that she could print her phrase up on the computor and attach it and then I quick quilled a lemon to stick to the front.
Ohhhhhh nevermind, you had to be here:rolleyes: That's what I hate about having to TYPE a story!!!

Vickie, Thank you, I have a hard time taking compliments. Sorry. But I still feel that when I look at what everyone on here makes including your lovlies!!!!!! I compare my things to everyone elses and wish I could craft and make art the way you do.
I do have to say tho, that I am loving this working with clay and making jewelry. I have an addictive personality so who knows how long this will last. I hope for a loooonnnnngggg time. And I love getting ideas from all of you You guys make just the most beautiful things. I LOVE IT!!!!!

I just want to say, and this is sappy, sorry. But I had/am having one of those crying nights. You know a pitty party and no one else was invited kind??? But I want to thank all you you lovely ladies, this includes Lisa and Yvonne also even tho they don't get on much anymore. But you ladies have helped me out soooooo much since I started here that you have no idea my turn around in life. In 1990 on Thanksgiving day I lost my best friend suddenly (she was one of my sisters, there are 9 of us but we were VERY close) and I have to admit, I lost all my beliefs. Then I lost a granddaughter and could not stand the thought of her being alone, so I started coming around a little bit. but since being on here and talking to you ladies, I have started a complete turnaround started out slowly and has lately been just bam bam, and I don't know how to handle it. I grew up in a very catholic family. Any way, enough of my sappy story, just want to say a big THANK YOU!!! TO ALL OF YOU!!!

Need a smile? I'll tell you what happened when the doctor came into the room today. I don't think I told this yet. Anyway...he is in his usual hurry and he trips and his laptop goes flying in the air in one direction and the mouse in another. He jumps and catches the computer before it hits the table! I say "nice save...."! I helped pick up the mouse and put it back together because it hit the floor. All was working. I didn't have the giggling fit until on my way home. All of a sudden I see the whole thing play out again in my head and I laughed till I bawled!!!
LOL Kathy, I don't know how you couldn't have busted up laughing right then and there!!!! It probably would have made his day to have a good laugh if you had laughed at the time. Too bad you didn't have a video of it. Youtube, you know??? Thanks Hun!!!
Everyday on Facebook a bunch of us say what we are thankful for each day, it can be anthing from serious to silly. Well.......today, I am thankful to all my SCS friends that I have made.
And we are thankful for you too, Donna.. and that is for sure.....And good cry is good for the soul.. My MIL used to say that God kept all the tears in a bottle.. that they were precious... I think there is a Bible verse but do know where it is.. I had the greatest MIL..she was so encouraging and I learned so much from her.
Love all the things everyone is doing.. I finally was able to get something done today and not fowl it up.. I wanted to make some gift tags to put in cards etc. and I got quite a few done.. Not too fancy as I used my stamps so I could put them in an envelop.

Well, I have 3 more cards to create for HYCCT. Right now, we have a party going on in our home. No school due to "teacher doing report cards." So a bunch of kids are having a "Minecraft" party....
three cards... I need to make 3 cards. They are really all good kids. It's just noisy....

Donna, you are so very loved by everyone here; the crafting is all in fun, but the friendships are heartfelt above all. I've been with a few groups over the years that have come and gone here on SCS and have to say that I LOVE being here with all of you MIU girls! You all start my morning, give me chuckles in the afternoon, and end my evening everyday! And, Donna, it was you who took me under your wing when I first posted on this thread. I wish I could wrap my arms around all of you and give a big squeeze....time for a group hug!

Vickie, I know that alot of people think of them as a menace, but I think they are sooo adorable. Once in awhile they will go by our house in groups and I get so scared for them because they are coming from the river and trying to get back out to the country, but have to go thru our town to get there. I love watching them. My sister in FL has a bear that hangs around. I will take deer over bears any dayof the week!!!
Want to share what was in my backyard this morning. I know they can be a menace, but for some reason I find them mesmerizing!
oh Vickie they are gorgeous, so great to have them chillaxing in your backyard!!! I love this, you should put it on your blog, I post my wildlife on there with my cards, it makes it so interesting to know what is around in everyonne's part of the world.

Oh Lauren, If I can figure out how to get some pics here, you are going to love them. I found them on a blog (jewelry) and she uses buttons and beads. They are just lovely.
IN is Indiana. My poor blog has been so neglected; thanks for the idea to post the wildlife. We have lots of it in our backyard! Lauren, you musta taken a wrong turn somewhere...I really am down the road, around the corner, first house on the left! Musta been around the corner that got you lost! LOL
Won't be on much tonight. That medicine wiped me out in more ways than one. (Just think about the word wiped and you will get the picture). I have to babysit tomorrow, so I cannot take another pill tonight or those girls will be running around my limp lifeless body....I feel like a zombie and my vision is blurred. I guess it's back to the drawing board. My body just does not like some of the meds they want to try. Sorry, but I can't concentrate so I will log off. I keep reading the same sentence over and over and it's not making sense to me. Hopefully I will check in tomorrow. Don't worry about me. I just need time for it to get out of my system.
