2 Manly cards, His birthday by vikkijo - at Splitcoaststampers
I think I may tear it apart and emboss the back gound. I was thnking Scattered Sequins, but now I am thinking the moon and stars from the retired set...Card Front Builder
Any opinions?
I need only 3 for SCS friends. Just 2 for family, granddaughter being one.
One for my dearest friend from a previous job, but she is so special to me. I need to think hard on hers'
I have hooked her on Stampin' Up! too. LOL
I did a set of cards using Kylie Bertucci's templates. See my blog for all that jibber.
I am addressing envelopes for my May obligations just chilling before I have to go to work.
I have two anniversary cards two very special family birthday cards one is my dads sister the other is Clint's grandmother. Then I havehis aunt on his mom's side. a lady that is a friend of somebody who occasionally comes to my card classes, her birthday is coming up. What better way to get her more into making cards than to send her a clean and simple homemade card.
And then I have six birthdays for splitcoast friends.

Hey Vikki Jo. Make sure to put this under the May conversation thread so everyone can see. ;-)

I must admit I am well ahead in Birthday and Christmas cards, if I have an idea I make a card before I lose my inspiration as we have the whole of July taken up with hospital tests, appointments for Steve, all three GSs here, two of them for a month, hospital tests, youngest son for two weeks in August. Who said retirement was boring!
just a quick pop-in to remind everyone to mail their May cards. You know... for those of you like me dragging your feet? LOL time's ticking by so fast.

Being on grave shift has really messed up my card making time. I am so far behind on birthday cards. Thankfully I put a reminder in my phone once a month for this thread. I need to anniversary cards plus one for my hubby 1 male family birthday card 6 female family. 13 splitcoast actually make it 15. Michelle zindorf birthday is this month as well as Lydia's
I know I've been absent and I apologize. The grandgirls were here all of June and July. Aside from just spending all of my time doing stuff with them, I had limited bandwidth to deal with. I just didn't do much of anything on-line and let them have the bandwidth for their 'device time'.
Sadly, I also didn't get cards mailed in June and July. I plan to look at my list for August today and see what I can get out at least in the same month :-D
My studio is a disaster! I'm hoping to get that dug out this week. I also need to get my July Suite Sweet Journal class filmed/ loaded to YouTube.

Just a quick stop in to let you know that Julie has accepted the offer to take the thread over next year. I HAVE to drop some things.... probably lots of things in the coming year.
Thank you all for joining me this year. I'll still be watching your cards for the rest of this year then pop in when I can in 2020. I still need the motivation!

I guess I did make the announcement. LOL See how crazy my month has been already LOL
I have decided to go back to being strictly a Hobby Dem with SU effective immediately. I WILL be accepting orders if someone wants something but I'm not going to spend all of my time trying to 'sell' the product. I just want to play with my toys :-D
I have 2 books for sure due out next year. One releases Memorial Day and the other the end of September. Aside from that I have a non-fiction I'd like to have ready by end of September and I hope to get rights back to my first book with an eBook publisher so I can release it in print mid-summer.
I'm also opening my Etsy shop soon. anything having to do with card making/ junk journaling will be spotlighted in KellysCreativeDreams on Etsy.
I'm switching everything to that moniker including my YouTube Channel, new FB page. I've already switched my IG account and have had that blog for years. I'll be dropping the SU blog effective the first of the year.
Lots going on.
I'm going to need everyone's encouragement to get cards sent out. Right now my bank in IL is about the only one who benefits from my cards. LOL

Thank you for doing this ... I greatly appreciate it and all that you have done.
Thank you Julie for not letting it die. I understand how much life can get in our way.

Thank you, Julie for taking up the reigns. We are so blessed.
I'm hoping to participate more this year. I know I need to revamp my card list but thst hasn't been a priority..
My focus the entire month of December was to dig out the studio and have a place to create again. I have the space to create but there's still lots of work to be done.
