I have tried to post several times this week-end, but am having internet issues.
I had it all typed out and lost it!
So will try again. I did several cards I needed for March for VSN.
Here are two sympathy cards I unfortunately needed. Sympathy Blossoms My Presence
Also, needed this Thinking of you card Thank you
I also did an April birthday card. Have to find the April thread.
I'm posting the mid-March challenge for you. We already had a challenge to use bling, and my challenge is similar but it is : Glitter. You must make glitter a major part of your card. You can use glittered cardstock, Stickles, glue and loose glitter, whatever you like but there must be glitter on your card.
I have a selfish reason for posting this as my challenge. I need to do two birthday cards by the end of March. One for an 8 year old girl who says there can never be too much glitter. The other for an 12 year old girl who loves glitter and butterflies. So I'll be working on two cards for my own challenge.

I needed 14 cards for March, and have already posted 6. These 8 fulfill my goal. The Card Ministry cards shouldn't be counted toward that goal, but I also used at least three from my stash for March birthdays, so I think I'm done.
Note to self: Don't wait to upload a bunch of cards all at once. It's easier one or two at a time! LOL
I only need 1 birthday card this month, for my mother in law's 60th birthday, so that will have to be a special one I still want to add more cards to my stash though, so I will stick to 5 for this month. Here's my first:
Whahoo! Finally got another March card done! I needed it for Sunday baby shower! I even used this week's All occasion challenge! I hope I am putting the keywords in right.
Sharon
Lovely card, Sharon. Great use of the multiple challenges. Yep, Keyword was correct. I've given you challenge credit!

Anyway VSN help me get a lot done!

Checking out your cards now, Sharon. I played with some of the VSN challenges too, though I didn't get them posted to the gallery. I was gone Friday night so I did those plus 1 of Saturday's challenges on Saturday. I used them to make 3 St. Patty's Day cards, 4 birthday cards and 2 sympathy cards.

Lovely card. Would work as a sympathy card, too. Happy Birthday to your MIL!

Ina, I love your cards. I'm sorry you had to make a sympathy card. It seems like a lot of sympathy cards have been needed already this year and it's only the middle of March.
I would love to have one of those double leashes. I don't know if it will work with my dogs being so different in size. One is a German Shepherd/Malamute mix and the other is a Border Collie.
I was done with March cards, but found out this evening that I needed a sympathy card. I also made a card for the Card Ministry and two for my Sunday School ladies, both with illnesses this weekend.

I will miss my dear friend a lot, but he knew he was going to heaven and looking forward to it. He lost a 5 year struggle with cancer, but we had him 2 years longer than expected. We used to meet every other Saturday morning at the grocery store and would have lovely chats. He and his wife have always been a great support to me. The tragedy is not that he died (being the same age as me...65) but that his daughter who is only 39 also has the same cancer as he had and is starting her 6th round of chemo this week. She has 4 young children. She is in pain and very weak, so I did not approach her at the funeral. So the card I made was for her.

I should be out gardening but our weather is so foul - freezing cold and a mix of hail and rain. So I'm spending the day in the craft room. Sorry for posting so many cards this month but it's all the fault of our abnormal weather! Here's another:

Oh, Ina. That is so sad. I'll keep your friend's daughter in my prayers along with family and friends.

Waving at you from across Canada! The weatherman made a big blunder this week and sent you our usual March weather and we ended up with yours. I was gardening all day, in sunshine and 23 C. degrees (that's 73 F.) And it's only going to get better....24 tomorrow and 27 the next day. I should be all finished my garden and yard cleanup by then!

You're right - they definitely switched the weather. My parents live in Mississauga and for once, my mother gets to brag about her daffodils blooming before mine and how she's already sat on her patio drinking tea! I haven't even started my garden cleanup yet!!!!
