I'm hoping to join in on the fun Saturday, I missed last years event - doesn't seem that long ago either.... the time flys by when you are having so much fun!!!! I not all that creative be love to give something handmade to everyone.
Our church is holding its 2nd annual Cards for Troops day on October 24th --Make a Difference Day -- where volunteers will assemble 2000 Christmas cards prepped by some of us and which will be sent to units in Afghanistan and Iraq. They will be sent to relatives of parishioners and used to be sent back home to loved ones for Christmas. Last year we assembled 1400 and mailed them out. So it's great that your event is for service personnel also! Hopefully I'll get home in time from a class to be able to play along with your event!:mrgreen:

How long does this usually last? We are 5 hours ahead of EST, so it would start at 3pm for me, but Sat afternoon is busy...I would be back around 5 hours after it started. Do people usually continue for at least 6 hours?

Argh, it only just occurred to me today to check what was going to be happening. But it's my FIL's 90th birthday celebration, so I'll be out half the day...but should still have time to join in some of the fun.
I won't be able to join in on the fun on Saturday since we already have other plans for the entire day. :( But I will be able to play on Sunday afternoon!
Great! I think I can take part. DH and youngest ds are going camping, and other 2 kids can take care of themselves. Means I can stamp all day!

You will have until Sunday at midnight to finish to be eligible for prizes, so Sunday works ;)
Jimmi - Will there be one central location for the challenges - or will we need to check each Members' forums for the challenges? I'm hoping to play part of the day on Saturday - but might be later in the day as we have kids' activities all morning into early afternoon. Can't wait!

They will all be posted right here in the Challenges forum by each Member Company and that is a great questions so I will add it to the 1st post, thank you for asking that!!
