In all honesty, many of the ladies cannot see the text in the thumbnails as they are resized too small. Unfortunately they have to be that small in order to upload them asa thumbnail. The sizes are much bigger in the galleries. Therfore that is why we are posting links rather than thumbnails. We all had to click once for a thumbnail to open, now we click once into the gallery for a larger view Hoep this makes sense. Happy Scrappin!

I have every intention of at least trying! I never did a page from a sketch before and it was pretty fun - other than NEEDING another alphabet stamp set now!
My pages are done, but I need to wait until tomorrow to take pictures of them :( No flash on my digital camera, it broke :( But I'll post them as soon as the sun's out!
Ok I did it! I think it is okay it is missing something tho and I can't figure out what. That is my personal challenge, I can come up with a good idea and the page looks good, but I can never get the thing that just gets it there! That thing that gives it the pop! I have a hard time with that.

Here's mine for this challenge! I may do the other sketch, too......just tweek it to a 12x12. I love having these to follow! Now.... off to start the theme challenge! Thanks for looking!
Just finished mine. I'll upload tonight or tomorrow. Now I'm off to work on my All About Me pages. I've really enjoyed looking at everyone's work. It's amazing how different the pages can look when they are all based on the same sketch.

January pages scrapped 1/10
I did my first Scrapbook Sketch challenge! YAY for me! I only have a few more years to catch up on, so I think I will keep trying these challenges. It is so much nicer to already have the layout planned! Thanks for a great sketch!
Here is the right side. Can anyone tell me how to get both links on at the same time? Or add an image to a link that's already posted? Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Finally my internet is working again!!!! Hubby has been working on it since Sunday and just got it up working today.
I can't figure out how to get two page links on the same e-mail so I'm afraid I have to send this in 2 separate attachments. If anybody can help me out on it, it would be greatly appreciated.

The easiest way is to open up two windows, one in your gallery and one with your post. Then open up one of your gallery posts, copy the link, then come back to your post and paste it there. Then go back to the other gallery post, copy the link, then come back again to your post and paste it.
Sorry it's not clearer. I'm not good at explaining stuff like this!

I consider myself a computer idiot so my advice may not be the best to follow. I found it worked pretty easy to just cut and paste both links into microsoft word and go there to grab them for in my post. Then I only had to have one internet window open at a time with my lovely dial up connection.
Finally, here are my pages, uploaded and approved. Thanks to these challenges I'm done scrapping an event that happened 3 years ago. I made 1 dps for each neices book and one for my book. I find it really saps my creativity when I have to make pages of the same event for multiple books. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

How do you spell Bazzar? It looks funny on my page. Did I spell it wrong? It just looks weird....Bazzaar, Bazaar?
Geesh! Well, I'll try to submit 2 more pages today since I have a little time to scrapbook!
Thanks for the inspiration!
Nadelle
Oh, it's not bizarre...funny. It's the World Bazaar that I'm talking about that I did on my page, only I spelled it Bazzar. I feel so stupid. I couldn't even find it in the dictionary!
It's so amazing to see everyone's creations from the same sketch, isn't it?? I just love it! You ladies are soooo creative!
I have to say that these challenges have really gotten me back into the groove with scrappin'! It's been great to feel reenergized with some new layouts and ideas! Thanks to everyone for sharing your artwork!!
So it's supposed to say "World Bizarre" for my girl scout's page? That doesn't make sense to me now. The flyers and stuff say "World Bazaar".
Nadelle who is off to ask the troop leader!
Well, I think I might have actually uploaded this thing! Crossing my fingers! This is my very first upload to SCS, so wish me lots o' luck! The image is pending approval at the moment. Thanks so much for the inspiration!!!!! I'll definitely be back for more!

Couldn't help but notice your posts! A "bazaar" is a market with shops, etc. "Bizarre" simply means something out of the ordinary! Hope this helps!!!
Ha ha! It is supposed to be Bazaar. It is an event that our troop does every year to learn about other countries and cultures and they can go to different tables(countries) to get different ideas of what the country/culture is like. The girls exchange "swaps" that represent the country they are focusing on. Sometimes they have food, like in my pictures, my daughter is trying canapes from France and another she's trying out chop sticks from Japan...so Bazaar is the word we're supposed to use!
Hope that clarifies it for everyone...I'll fix my page, but I won't take a picture and upload it again! Just upload different pages later today!
Nadelle
I uploaded more pages called Second grade friends...I can't find it, so I hope Amy and Cindy can! I know I got them in before the deadline! Argh!
I did a search and it said pending approval but I couldn't get the link. I am too tired and foggy! So I'm off to bed praying that my pages got on here!
