I posted a month or more ago that I was unable to subscribe to forums. To date, I still have not been able to. I just changed my thread subs to instant, after looking at the thread about not getting emails.
I joined as a fan club member back in October, and sure do expect a little better service, than if I were a non-fan club member.
when I look at your subscription options I see you're:
"Subscribe with no notification"
try changing that and see if it makes a difference.
- click your user name at the top of the screen to jump you into your control panel
- click the Edit Options link at the left
- look for the 'Default Thread Subscription Mode' option and change it to whatever you like
- check out your other options while you're in there as well, confirm your e-mail address, etc.

I did what you suggested. I then went to the Technique Forum, clicked on the Forum Tools arrow and selected Subscribe to this Forum. Because I had changed my default from no email notification to daily email notification that is what had popped up. I clicked Subscribe. The message I then got, said I was subscribed. However, when I went to my subscription list - the forum didn't show up. this is what has happened every time I've tried to subscribe. When I go back to the forum and again look at the forum tools, it still says subscribe to this forum, when it should say UNsubscribe this forum.
I'm just brainstorming here, so I could be way off, but I am not sure that the *subsciption list* lists the Forums you subscribe to. I believe it only lists the threads...

That's a possibility, but the "old" SCS did list the forums. And when I have tried to subscribe I have NOT received ANY emails (daily). This will at least give Daven another place to look!
