can someone tell me how:
when I do a search for a set and then I get to the first page of samples- how do you get to the rest of them? When I hit the arrow or page 2 I end up getting samples of all sorts of other sets. I feel so stupid but just can't figure it out. I don't even know if I've asked the question in a way that can be understood!!
Now, now, now...there are no stupid questions...
Actually, I did understand your question, but I'm at a loss...due to the fact that the way that you are explaining your attempt to get to the next page is the way I would have told you to do so...I would check with the "web master"...he has all the answers!!! Best of luck!!!

hmm, I might need a little more explanation of what you're doing. if you just want to look at cards from a particular set, the best way is to look in the category for that set. if you're actually doing a *search* for a set your search will return any card entry (from any category) that includes the search term you used. I don't know if that is helpful or not, probably not! but give us a few more details and maybe then I'll understand a little better...
renadasmom, I have had this happen to me too, so you are not alone! I just tried all different searches so that I could explain exactly what I'm doing when this happens, and it won't do it now!! I can't recreate it today.
well, it's hard to explain- when I go to the place where you can scroll down and see each set listed and I highight the set I'm looking for- enter the search and get back say 5 pages. The first page is all the set I was originally looking for- but then if I hit the arrow, or page 2 [or 3 or 4...] then I end up with samples from multiple sets, having nothing to do with my original search.
If I'm understand the webmaster correctly, the way I can avoid this is to use the search option where you go to the 'sets A-C' and go find the set that way and search. I just tried it to see if I'm getting it and it seemed to work better, but I'll just have to try it a few times to see.
Thanks for taking the time to try to help me- I appreciate it!
the thing I'm a little confused on is when you say 'search'. are you actually putting text in the search box and clicking the search button? all you need to do is click on the category name (A-D SU! Sets) and then click on the set name you want. forgive me if I'm telling you something you already know...
Isn't it just the easiest thing, to go to the gallery and through the alphabetical listing, find the set you want, and go that route? Then, you DO get all the samples created specifically with that set, and don't have to perform a "search".
Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're trying to do . . .

And yes, I am doing a real search where I type in a word, like "crimper", to see all cards that used a crimper. Or I type in "polished stone" to see all the cards that used that technique. It brings up, say, 5 pages of cards that fit the search criteria. When I click on the [2] or [next] to view the next page of cards, it seems to take me back to the "most active" page of "all images." I can't figure out how to view pages 2-5 of the search. I can't recreate this today, but if it happens again, I'll be able to give you exact steps I took.
Thanks for your help and for such a great website!
I like to use the search instead of going to the gallery for the particular set, because (I think) a card can only be posted in one set gallery, and if multiple sets are used, it will only show up in the set gallery it was posted under. Is that correct?
For example, if a card uses both A Little Love and Soft Swirls, I'm thinking that it will be in one set gallery or the other, but not both. So if I'm looking for ALL cards made with Soft Swirls, I'm better off using the Search and entering "Soft Swirls" than going to the Soft Swirls gallery. Is that right or am I way off base?
This is just a minor thing, and in no way affects my LOVE for this site. I'm just so thankful we have the ability to search at all!
Yes, you're right. If you do a search for a particular set it will give you all the cards using that set, even if it's not the main set that was used.
