Strange Happenings

So, I'm having no problem getting around on SCS today - obviously. But, my friend Trish (strongcanadianbeauty) cannot get on. She can get onto other websites, but not SCS. She is one of the coordinators for VSN, which is happening right now, so this is frustrating to her. It happened last VSN too. Is there a reason why some members might be able to get onto SCS while others cannot? It seems it is either an SCS problem - as that's the only site she cannot connect to right now - or something with her individual internet provider (which is different than mine) having a problem somehow with the SCS site. Any wisdom from you guys? Do you know why this would happen? And, do you know how it can be fixed?

Oh - it's not a cookie thing. She can't even connect to the site - "Internet Explorer cannot display this page" is what she gets.

You can email her directly - her email should be on file. Or, I'll check here and keep her posted.

I'm typing from my phone, so please forgive the short answer! Can she maybe replace the www with web2.splitcoaststampers.com? That helps many times...

I emailed Daven, too. He might have some other suggestions.

actually web2 was the problem :( so sorry, we're working now on a considerable project to resolve this.

By the time I got home (had to take a trip to the hospital with DD1, but all is well) I was able to connect.

Jenn was able to contact me with some helpful info so if I run into this again (my luck it'll be while I'm CO'ing next VSBN :rolleyes I'll give it a go!!!!

If it only happens to some ppl, could it be partly internet provider involved? If so let me know.....chances are I can get the ear of the person who could take care of it being we have a smaller provider....
