Default Need A Photo/Computer Wiz!

Ok I have seen several people question this and I still dont see an answer that works....I wanted to give an example of what I am questioning...When I take a digital photo, upload it, then resize it I cant figure out why my photos arent as crisp as others uploaded...For exampe....if you right click on a photo in the gallery...then click properties...in the box that appears where it says...
Size and Dimension mine has alot smaller of Size Value then most of the clearer pics but the dimesions are about the same....Is there anyone out there you can help me with this part? Thanks so much! SG (Cookie)

i am not too tech savvy but...

are you using the macro setting on your camera? it is for very close up shots.

i have great results using the macro setting and no flash. i never make adjustments to the picture.

warning... i am not tech savvy!

someone else may have much better info for you!

good luck, i hope you find what works best for you.

Have you tried saving your photos as a PNG file? This can sometimes improve the quality. Also what program are you using to resize your photos?

Thanks! I will try that....I am using Arcsoft Photo Center 2000 so its old...but the photos look very clear until they are uploaded on the site then they loose the crispness...someone said its because when they are uploaded they are all sized the same but thats what I dont get if that is true then why are some gallery photos not the same size...I will try to save it in PNG to see if that helps....Thanks again!
