My Thread was moved
and I am NOT happy about that. It is never going to get the atention in the fun n games category that it would in general stamping. It is a thread about POSTS here at SCS. I do not understand why someone felt it had to be moved.just FYI, I am a PAYING member.
No offense, but my understanding is that the "General Stamping" forum is for posts about, err, stamping. Whether or not you will get to 10,000 posts really has nothing to do with stamping - it's more of a fun thing. I think the mods did a great job of relocating it appropriately. And for what it's worth, I'm a paying member too. ;)

I'm sorry you're unhappy with the thread being moved. When we created the "other stuff" forums, we gave a home to non-stamping/crafting related posts, and asked our mods to keep things in the right spots.
We try to keep only stamping/craft related posts in the Stamping forums. Anything that is not related to those things will be moved accordingly. Fun polls such as the one you started will get moved to Fun & Games, and that's what our mods do to keep the forums as orderly as possible.
If more people used the appropriate categories, there wouldn't be a problem with stuff posted outside of General Stamping or Everyday Chit Chat not getting the "proper" level of attention, ya know? ;)

Do you know how many threads are in general STAMPING about diecuts, and diecut machines? that isn't stamping---they should be in the scrapbooking forum, no?

Perhaps you should email a MOD instead of (what I consider) a not so kind post. Daven and Tracy OWN SCS and not the other way around. So...your thread was moved. Big deal. It wasn't deleted was it? Obviously with the amount of traffic that goes through here on a daily basis things are going to slip through the cracks. But give the mods a chance to make things right before "spouting off". Just MHO!

We really do the best we can to keep everyone happy and all the threads in the appropriate places. The blog thread is stamping related since they are stamping/crafting blogs. It could have been posted in EDCC, although it's not one that I think would be moved. No one moves threads to upset members..... we are volunteers doing our best to help out and keep things easy for everyone to find and to keep the site tidy. It has always been our policy to keep the poles in fun and games unless they are related to a different forum. I'm sorry this upset you so much.... I hope you reach your posting goal!
