How long does it take?

I just tried to upload my first card and it states it's pending when I look in my gallery. How long does it take before I know if it's been loaded or not? :?

I so totally excited about this! :lol: I just got a digital camera and even though it took me a long round about way to upload the card (since I don't have the internet at home & can't load software onto my computer at work ) I'm tickled to think I might be able to participate a little more in this wonderful site!

And if this works...I'll have to try and figure out this avatar thing!

Not long. . .it's already there! I just approved it.

Usually it does not take long to get stuff approved. Between me, Beate, and Daven, stuff is up pretty quickly.

Everyone can help speed up approvals by properly categorizing their scans/pics and giving better names to the files. You get a message if we have to move your scan, so you know they are being moved.
For instance - use somthing like
jbalcer_wonderfulwings.jpg instead of wonderfulwings.jpg.
The latter will usually get picked up as a duplicate, and your card (or another's) may get deleted in the process.

Oh! and you will also get an email that states your pic was approved, and give you a link to it.
