I was trying to update my avitar picture and deleted my old picture. Now I can't seem to upload the picture I want to use as my avitar. I've located the picture on my hard drive but nothing seems to happen when I try to save the new picture. I'd like to have an avitar again... can someone please help me?

Size really does matter - if your new avatar is too big it won't upload.
Hope you get it sorted soon.
p.s. - I don't know which browser you use. I use Firefox, and I remember that when I choose my avatar file and click, it takes me to a page that shows my new avatar in a thumb at the top. I used to think that was just a preview and would try filling in the field at the bottom again, but in fact that's it, you can just close the page if the right picture is showing.
awww - I love your new picture! The size is good but you've uploaded it into your profile picture field, not your avatar field. Upload it there and you'll be good in both places!
Hmmmm - I'm still baffled... I'm still not getting the avitar picture to take hold.
Lydia - you are correct, I did change the profile picture but then also tried to change the avitar but it just won't take.
Sabrina - I did reduce the size of my image to work within the guidelines but no picture ever shows up in the preview box.
I guess I'll try using a different internet browser and see if I have better luck. Otherwise.. I will remain faceless - maybe that's not a bad deal?!?!
Lydia - actually... I hate the picture I have on my profile. I was trying to use a different one. Let me see if the browser issue fixes it and if not, I'll have you download the picture I have on my profile.
I'll check the file name to make sure it's not funky and see if I can't download the other picture I wanted to use. If I mess things up again, I may need to ask you to download it one more time if you don't mind.
I did it - It must have been the internet browser - it downloaded without a problem when I used firefox. I appreciate the help - you all are the best on this website! Stamping girls unite! :o)
