How can I successfully un-subscribe???

I do not want to subscribe to ANY of the threads I routinely view. But apparantely, my posting on that thread-even if just a greeting- I am sub-scribbing. I am constantly anxious to go into my yahoo acct where there is over 5,000 "e-mails" Twice, I have un-subscribed(to each thread) and the first time, all it did was send my subscription to my junk mail folder in yahoo. Physically, I can not be on the computer for long periods of time and I do not want to spend them trying to "un-do" the same #+*@ things each time. There has to be a way to easily get rid of this problem-any no, each day to go in and un-subscribe as the very last thing I do before logging-off at the end of the day is NOT it. Can anyone help??

Just above your viewing box at the right you'll see thread tools, click on it then on unsubscribe and you will no longer get emails for that thread. Make this part of your routine if you post to a thread but don't care to get future updates.

If you do not want any emails from SCS including the gallery, click on your the envelope icon where you recieve and send messages or your name next to it.
Now click on Edit Options to the left of the screen and under Messaging and Notification - Recieve Email you will uncheck this box:
If you do not want to receive these notices, disable this option.

You can change your preferences so that doesn't always happen automatically.

Go to Quick Links > Edit Options.

Under Default Thread Subscription Mode, pick another choice from the drop-down box instead of Instant Email Notification.

But if you change that setting, then you need to Go Advanced and opt in for the notifications on specific threads that you do want to subscribe to when you post in them.

Since you're going perm:
If you have a gallery and want to see if comments were left go to the bottom of your gallery page, on the left under Sort Photos you'll see sort by, click on the check box and switch it to Last Comment then click on Sort Now on the opposite side of the screen.
