For the last several days, I have been getting an error when I try to get to the forums. The error is:
phpBB:Critical Error
Error creating new session
All on a blank, white screen. I can get to every other area, just not the forums. And this isn't happening all the time. Just curious if this is part of the server problems or if this is something new popping up. My friend is having the same problems so I know it just isn't me. Usually I just wait and come back in later but this means that I have to go clean something and, really, this just isn't working for me :lol:
I think that the error that you are receiving is because the database that stores all the data for the threads is down. Please correct me if I'm wrong...

Me, too! All weekend, all Monday and today also.
I got into here (forums) by going into the galleries first and then when those seemed to work alright clicking on forums. Hey, maybe it's the moderators' ploy to get all of us looking and posting comments in the galleries.
It comes and goes here. Sometimes I get no new threads under current conversations, and other times, I try to click on one and get that error. It is strange.
I had this happen all weekend--I thought it was a problem with my server here. It happened with the galleries, the forums, the homepage...Of course, I checked back periodically. I NEVER give up on SCS!

This is what appears to be happening because whenever I have clicked on links from my e-mail and see that message, I try to access the forums directly and receive the same message. Also, this is the same times when there aren't any conversations / swaps on the home page.
Well, what a pain! I was all set to reply to this thread and I got kicked off and couldn't get back for a half hour. I am glad it isn't just me but I hope it gets fixed soon. I am soooo addicted to this site and when I actually have to visit other sites or, heaven forbid, pay attention to my kids, well...let's just say, I am not a happy person. :lol:
