I have wondered the same thing. So, I'm bumping this for you, in hopes that you will get a response, and subscribing, so I can find out the answer too!
I usually just copy the URL of the page I want to link to and paste it in the description part of the upload. It is automatically converted to a link. No extra typing involved.
Melissa - what I meant was that I can type a word and then it becomes the link instead of a big long messy url address. Like Julie did here in this description.
I was wondering how to do this too! Could I get you to explain to me how you were able to do this? I tried with the code above and can't figure it out, I am sure it is operator error! (; Thanks so much!

Here's some more specific instructions. Please PM me if this doesn't work for you, because I may not check back here.
You basically have to key in all the codes, so hopefully I'll give them to you right. It's a bit of work and sure looks cool, but if you type it wrong or miss one, it doesn't work.
Here is what you type:
[url*=paste link here]card[*/url]
or if you want it in color:
[url*=paste link here][*color=blue]card[*/color][*/url]
>>> paste link here is where you put your link
>>> card is where you type what you want it to say
>>> you leave out ALL the asterisks in the coding (I needed them here so you can see the coding)
I used blue here as a sample. I still haven't figured out all the colors, but the names have no spaces in them, i.e. darkred, darkolivegreen, mediumturquoise, etc. Hope you can make it work.

Oh man! I am trying so hard to 'get' this! I love the clean look of the hyperlinks, and am able to do this when posting on a thread (ie: Favs of the Week) but I cannot do it with my uploads. Please any help appreciated!
Thanks!
Pat

Hi Pat,
With links in the gallery, this is how I find easiest.
Type your initial text as far as the link.
Type [*url= (only without the *) and then right after the =, paste your link, and then close the square brackets off with ].
Then type your text that you want to show in bold as the hyperlink - all those YouTube links for MMTPT
Then type[/url], and that should be it.
So your text comes in between two sets of square brackets.

This is the code you need. Copy and paste this entire line in your description. Then, REMOVE the space I put between URL and = . I had to put the space there in order for the link to show up in its entirety here. Without it, it would show up simply as Happy Anniversary. I hope this makes sense.
When you want a new link, copy the URL of the link and paste it in place of the one above, starting w/ the http and continuing thru the 147277. (Make sure you do not remove the brackets.)Then type what you want to show in place of the Happy Anniversary.
Everyone had great info, and since I use it all the time I know what they're saying. I just thought it might make more sense for you to have a finished example you could actually test.
I hope this helps!

Julie! You are the best! Thanks so much. Someday, maybe I will catch up to all of this 'technology'! I just used your link, and will see how my edit comes up! Appreciate your time and effort to get me up to speed!
