Upload question

When uploading a card, if I see an x and the file name on the info screen, is the upload still working? Usually I see a picture of the card, but sometimes I just see an x and the file name.

I'm glad someone asked that.... I've been trying to submit a card for the last 45 minutes and keep getting that too! I tried to rename my card and move it to a different folder on my hd, but I still get that "red x" instead of the image. If you just ignore it and go thru the posting process, it doesn't show up in the gallery.... I tried that too!

Maybe it's the newest format, when I tried it again I added the title on the first screen with a brief description, then it loaded as it usually does and I could edit both the title and descripton in the usual spot. Otherwise it was one of the fabulous moderators that cured the problem. Deb

I went ahead and uploaded a card with the little red x and it did work. I don't know why it looks like that sometimes, but I just wanted to let you all know that it did still work! Thanks!

You'll find more info on the red x prob here in this forum . . . .the very basic answer?

We have three servers, and one of them hosts the thumbnail images. Sometimes it takes a little bit for the thumbnail to appear when you're looking at a page that lives on another server.
