Attention All Houston area Stampers!!! We will be having a stamping event soon but first we need your input. Please tell us what dates would be best, what location would be most convenient for all and what you would like to do at this event. Please get back to me ASAP so that I can set the dates and time.
Hey, I know that a lot of the Texas stampers are just coming off of a big high after being up in Arlington. But I know there are a bunch of stampers right here in Houston and in South Texas that would like to get together. Let's get something going here. I'm just afraid that this is going to get into the holiday season which is coming up fast. Do you think it would be good to look at right after the new year say February??????? Just a thought. LET'S GET SOME FEEDBACK HERE!

I'm 4 hours from Houston, but I might be interested in coming depending on time and location. I'd prefer NE Houston area. Do you have a date you're looking at? Or at least a general timeframe? That might help!

rshores(Rebecca) and I were throwing around the idea to do one in Austin in late spring, if anyone is interested. However, we will gladly go to Houston!

Austin is close enough for me to come! I don't know that I'd be able to make a Houston one. :( sassybee, do it around "tax return time"! Then I'll definitely be there!

Yeah, I don't really know my way around Texas, but I think Austin is a bit more centrally located. I'd probably go wherever though!
ROADTRIP! Jody -- come back to DFW and then you can all car pool with the rest of us N. Texans, okay?!! Seriously, I could make it to Houston (have family & friends there) but Austin IS more centrally located.
Well, I think since there was just a get together up in the DFW area, that this one should be down more south Texas. I wasn't able to make the last one because of the time to get there and having responsibilities here at home. I guess it will be determined by whoever is in charge and who wants to come.

OK! I can do that! Are you going to drive me? ;) 5 hours is about my limit, after that I am TOO tired!
I didn't see if this gathering is only open to the folks from Houston, but after all of the fun I had in Arlington I would love to attend another gathering.
Brenda and I have not worked out any real plans for the Austin gathering so please don't let that interfere with any of the plans for Houston. We are thinking more Spring, so if this gathering were just after Christmas I think we might be able to make these Texas gatherings a regular thing.

Well. I realize that Houston is much farther than DFW, but if it's timed just right, I can come...Evan is due in late January, so that may cause a bit of an issue. I have family that lives in the Houston area (other than my cyber twin tasha, that is), so I would probably have a place to crash...and if I bring the baby & dh, they would have people to hang out with while I stamp the day away!!!!

I'm up for a road trip to Austin or Houston. I'll be coming from north of Dallas but I don't care. Just the thought of an overnight hotel stay, not having to fix anyone else breakfast, lunch or dinner and stamping to my heart's content sounds like just what I need right now!! I'm keeping an eye on this and I'll be there!!

you guys are MORE than welcome to crash at my house.. michael LOVES LOVES LOVES new babies.. and would take over from jeremy.. seriously!
and for the CAP thing.. i am just lazy. it DOESNT hurt me to use them.. I am fully capable of capatilizing my letters in a correct format if I feel like it. But, at work, my reports are LITERALLY scrutinized by someone who has taken it upon themselves to be my "watchdog" (their words.. literally) and I get so tired of it, that on this board, I just don't really care.
so, if I must, I can use my capitals! phhbbbtttt!

I would be interested in finding out the whens and wheres when you all get this planned. Sounds like more crazy fun!!!! I agree with Maggie that after the holidays would be better but stamping is great anytime!!!

Thank goodness we've found some people who are interested!! I was worried there for a minute. So it looks like January it is...and lets go ahead and plan on Houston and then we can all caravan over to the Austin one in the spring. (It's not like we can have too many stampin' weekends.) I'll get working on finding a place that can handle all of us!!!
If anyone has a suggestion about an actual location please speak up.
Feb. sounds great--I would love to meet all of you! I do *NOT* know my way around Houston, so I hope that once it is planned, someone will have good directions for what I need to do once I'm on I10.
Aw Melissa, You know we will take great care of you! We wouldn't let you get "Lost" Hehe
