I wanted to buy an ink pad storage unit. I found the link to this online store (Forevertreasures woodworking) so I ordered from them. He sent me a Paypal transaction and i paid immediately (the 15th) He said he'd mailed it on the 18th. We are in the same province. The maximum time it would take to get to me is 5 days. Well, 3 weeks later and no ink storage. I've called, left messages, emailed him and he is not returning any of them. It is obvious he did not mail my item. I'm now out 87.50. I'm so upset! So, a warning to all. DO NOT ORDER FROM FOREVER TREASURES!!!!!
Michelle
The same thing happened to me! Fortunately, I paid with American Express so I filed a complaint and they said I didn't have to pay. You could ask Paypal to get involved. I got one unit from him and was so thrilled, and then sent the money for a second unit and nothing!!!

I am SO SORRY that this happened to you!! Can you revoke the payment? Most credit card companies will allow you to do this. I hope it works out for you!

Oh wow! That is a lot of money, I can't believe some people:mad: I hope you can do something to get your money back. At least email him one more time and let him know you are giving him a bad reputation to over 30,000 stampers.

Thanks, you guys. I'm so upset, I'm crying! I will get Paypal involved. I just find it so hard to believe he could just steal my money like that! What kind of nerve? Didn't he think I'd NOTICE that I never got my item?
Anyway, thanks for letting me vent.
Also, Bedazzledbylife, (as I am right now...actually, stunned by life is more the word) I'm sorry this happened to you as well.
Michelle
I have had that happen to me and I hate to tell you but I was just out the money. Paypal investigated found in my favor but there was nothing left to attach so I lost $137. I think paypal has some new ways of dealing with this now so if you get them involved right away you may have a chance.
FILE YOUR COMPLAINT WITH PAYPAL IMMEDIATELY! You only have 30 days from the date of the payment to dispute it, and you say it's been three weeks. I hope you're able to get your money back! :(

I have to say...I had a customer order a storage unit from me...During our discussion, she mentioned that she had also ordered from this company...She also stated that she never got her storage unit, or a reply to NUMEROUS emails...She said that when she ordered they had a Christian type website, so she thought she was safe
Contact paypal right away...If you have any type of invice, you should be able to get your money back
I am so sorry that this has happend to you...You can also contact the Better Business Bureau...They should be reported...

I saw a news report a few months back about dishonest credit companies using the guise of Christianity to lure customers. Christians want to support fellow Christians and patronize their businesses, and these people know and take advantage of it.

Did you leave negative feedback on Ebay? I refrain from leaving ANY feedback until I recieve the item. I rely on the feedback rating for my confidence in bidding. I hope all of you who failed to get your product left negative feedback. Although allerting us on this board will negatively impact his business, leaving negative feedback on ebay will IMMEDIATELY get his attention and ultimately lead to the end of the business. Also, is there a way you can leave a complaint with ebay? This should also be pursued. Bad sellers need to be quickly weeded out for all of our confidence.

It wasn't an ebay purchase...believe me I'd Neg feedback him from here to next week! I was looking for units and came across a link to his website here. His stuff looks great AND he's in my province! Bonus for me, I thought...
So, I filed a complaint with Paypal...both over the phone and by email. They are freezing his Paypal account. I hope I will get my money back.
Meanwhile, I'm still in need of an ink pad storage unit!
I know this is against the law. Can't you file charges against him? I think it is IMPERATIVE that the police be contacted...otherwise he will keep this up. They can investigate and maybe at least track him down. I think I'd be finding his address myself and..oh I don't know...stalk him! (Well, maybe not stalk)...but I definitely WOULD call the police department and see what options I had for filing charges or getting him arrested. Please DON'T let this go! Or he will just keep doing it.
Oooh, oooh, I just found this website called, www.ripoffreport.com. They sound like they can get bad press for this company and try to get your money back. I didn't read the entire site but it looked like a good little revenge tool. You might want to read it and see what its all about. Okay, just thought you'd like to know.
How about the Better Business Bureau in his town? Also, you said that you live in the same province as him. There is consumer legislation administered by each province that you may be able to go through. In Alberta, I believe it's part of Municipal Affairs.

I'm so sorry this happened to you! :( I think we all take internet business for granted, assuming that it will be safe, especially with Paypal! I've had one unauthorized transaction on my Paypal account, and it was corrected really quickly, so rest assured that they'll take care of you the best they can. Definatley call the OPP.
Where in Ontario is he???? Maybe we can meet up and storm his house?! Hee hee hee.

Reason: type-o
Not to cause any trouble, but I ordered from this company and it did take a while. Partially, because they are in Canada. Also, they custom make each one. This is from their website:
Shipping
Customers are responsible for all shipping and handling charges. Once payment is received and clears, I make arrangements to make your products, unless I have the items on hand, in stock. Shipping takes place as soon as possible after payment is received. Due to the complexity of some custom made products, production scheduling, volume of orders and courier pickup dates, shipping can take place up to 6-8 weeks after payment is received. I will give you an estimate of your expected shipping time when you place your order. I always strive to get products out to my customers as FAST AS POSSIBLE. I know what it is like to order something online and have to wait for it ☺.
I work with several different courier, postal and shipping companies to find the most cost-effective means of shipping your purchase. I usually ship items via ground courier (within North America), however, I will work with each order individually to obtain the least expensive, most efficient delivery time and cost.
You may want to talk to the person again to see where your order is in the schedule. Just a thought...
