Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: Jennifrann/Jen
CHALLENGE:
Let's make some funny creatures/monsters to make James laugh. Using either stamps or punch art and lots of imagination--let's see what kind of funny creatures you can come up with.
CARD TYPE/THEME: Thinking of You, Hello, Encouragement, Sunshine
SCS gljordan (Gina) originally posted in the request for cards forum and SCS mcschmidty requested a tea party. A coworker of Gina's has a 10 year old son, James, who was recently diagnosed with cancer after experiencing leg and knee pain. James is now undergoing radiation and has to have several blood transfusions. His hair started to fall out so he had it shaved and his father and two brothers shaved their hair off too in support. Gina is hoping James will receive cards from every state and from around the world. See the original post here.

Be sure to you use KEYWORD MMTPT677 in your upload and post a comment here so we can all see your card!
Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Send your request to jacqueline via PM or e-mail [email protected]. Include SCS Teaparty Request in the subject line.
Just a note to say that as long as your making one card for a ten year old boy with cancer, you might also consider making a second for this boy with cancer: https://wbsm.com/freetown-boy-cancer-birthday-wish/

Reason: Sabrina adding clickable links.

My card for James. My grand-nephews are about his age and love Star Wars, so I went with R2D2 - or, my rendition of R2D2 (which is what makes it a “funny creature” lol).
Sabrina's note - yes, links don't seem to be autoformatting anymore again. Sigh...I've reported it. I just discovered it when trying to link my own card.
But you can use the chain to add the link to some text - so HERE is Linda's card.

Reason: Link didn’t work
Link formatting is broken again, deep sigh. To link your card so we can click on the link. Type My card is HERE - or whatever you like. Select HERE, and click on the chain icon, paste the link for your card info the box where it says URL (your cursor should already be there) and click OK. And cross your fingers and hope that they'll fix it quickly this time ;-). Sorry about the dialog box showing in the screenshot, it also appears to be nearly impossible to select text now while writing on a cellphone. Otherwise I would fix Donna Jeanne's and Faith's links.
Here is my card for James. I tried to think of what our DGS likes as he is the same age as James but didn't have the right stamps, so I decided to run with an Aussie theme stamping some of our critters who will head over the oceans and say G'Day to James.
