Default Egads, What Have I Done? - New Here

Hello SCS!

So glad to find this forum! Fell into paper crafting just last month, and it's been tough going without a community. After several weeks of searching for just-the-right containers to go with my brand new furniture, and finding it pretty much impossible, I decided to craft my own after being inspired by a box I bought at Michael's a few years ago.

Found a video on Youtube that put me in the right direction, and I've been ordering supplies and tools ever since. I was really into paper and mix media crafting when I was young, but this is a totally different animal, and it's kinda exciting to get into something new. So many shiny things to play with.

Glad you found us! Inspiration is everywhere, even at Michael's with a box. Keep playing!

Happy Crafting!

Not to worry. I am actually a VERY organized person by nature (it's also what I do professionally). My new Crafting / Office furniture has a lot of storage, and I'm only using HALF of the room right now. Already started buying some storage items, and more are coming.

I'll be honest and say this is going to be a side hobby at best. I have lots of hobbies, and my decision to go this way with crafting was based on NEED, rather then boredom. Once I have built all the items I need, I'll actually be able to have fun and just keep an eye out for cool new designs I can use for super special things.

Thank you everyone! I have found that you all are a pretty friendly bunch..quite a difference from the FB group I've been lurking in (I hate FB, made 1 post that never made it to the group, and it's lame). SCS is much more my thing

Welcome to SCS!
You come with a good skill set! We have an organization board people are always debating how to do it. I bet you will have lots of great insights and suggestions!

In the gallery there is one for craft rooms if you feel like sharing pics. Mine is so not pretty so I wouldnt do it, but some gals have fantastic spaces!

I am not a FB fan either.
