Challenge Title: December Birthdays
Hostess: Kia
Keyword: CAS511
Date: Week of December 10th, 2018
Hello everyone. Kia here hosting this week's CAS challenge.
I seem to know a lot of people who have birthday's in December and I often wonder if I should dress up the card, or dress it normally, or ??? For the most part I dress it up, and what I have found is that most of my recipients keep them with their Christmas cards and not off on their own.
So, I would ask that you show me what you do for a December Birthday?
1. There is no deadline to play along with the CAS challenge. 2. Take all the time you need to finish and upload your card. 3. Upload your card to your gallery and link back to this thread so we all can see your project. 4. Please remember to use the correct keyword CAS511 when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos. 5. Please feel free to combine the CAS challenge with any other challenges.
The challenges are to provide inspiration and to get us stamping, so have fun and follow your heART. We cannot wait to see what you create!
What a great challenge! My friend and I share the same date in December and I forgot to create a card for her.   We have decided to postpone our birthday celebration until January, do you think that means I can wait on the card? Hmmmm.....
For my brother's December birthday which is the day before mine, I kept it nice and simple but it's still here in the house instead of in Lousiana where it should be!
Here is a December Birthday card in cool teal. Since December is a whirlwind of activity I think a December birthday should be celebrated all month long. I always think it's kind of special that the house is decorated all month!
Thanks for a fun challenge, Kia! I have nine December birthdays in my family....the guys get rustic cards and this year, some of the girls will get some snowflakes:
No December birthdays in my family, but we do have a Jan. 1st one. And I do tend to forget it and am scrambling to get a card created last minute. So this was the perfect challenge for me. Thank you!!
Kia- a perfect challenge for me! My DD turns 24 and is coming home near her birthday, and with green her favorite color, I thought this dry embossed and distressed main panel with a simple sentiment would fit the bill. Here's Kat's birthday

Here's one for me. This will go to one of my friends with an early January birthday and I may make another for my daughter who has a January 14th birthday. I've already mailed out my December birthday cards ~
