Oh, I had great fun trying this out to use in a MIX challenge and am very happy to be off work today and have another opportunity to give it a second go. Thanks, Judy.
Oh I love the sound of this technique. I've used tissue paper before in mixed media but not embossing on top...I will add the challenge to my list. Thank you and happy day

Oh Judy - this Challenge brought me straight away back to the years I lived in Japan and the phenomenal gilded Silk Kimonos worn by the women in those days - now they all wear western clothes except for VERY special occasions - Here is my card:
The cards already in the gallery are absolutely gorgeous. What a wonderful, elegant effect, just with tissue and embossing powder and inks. Here is mine.
This was actually not hard- I substituted a variegated grey paper bag and that worked fine.Achieved some rather dramatic black and gold veining by leaving it very crumpled up. Added a pretty stamped and die cut flowers and pot for my main panel. Here's Flower Pot HB
