I have been a 99% Stampin Up customer for YEARS. It's only been within this past year that I have dabbled into other stamp companines. I'm about to place a rather large stamp order that include both Lawn Fawn and Sunny Studios.
My question is, are the sets from these companies relatively the same size as Stampin Up? Just asking because I like to store all of my stamp sets in the SU DVD cases so they store nice and neatly on the shelf. ;)

I always love it when the description of the stamp set actual includes measurements for specific stamps in that set; but at the very least it should tell you something like “ comes on one 4x6 acetate sheet”. That should help you figure out if it will fit in the SU cases.
Sorry for the dumb question. I'm new here. What are SU cases?
Stampin' Up used to have its stamps in clear plastic clamshell cases. When they switched to including photopolymer (clear) stamps in their lineup, they switched the cases. Clear and unmounted rubber stamp sets come in cases that look like DVD cases.
Wood mounted sets come in a case that is similar, but wider like a VHS box was. Some of those cases are the full height of a DVD/VHS case, and some are half-height. You can buy extras for your other stamps.
Find the clear mount cases here.

Find the half size cases here.

I just looked at your links and see what you're saying. So basically clear VHS or DVD "like: cases without the holder for the DVD media.
Doesn't that take up a lot of room if you are buying a lot of stamps?

Thank you! I've been doing lots and lots of reading on the sticky threads espcially in the Tools and Product Talk area. I start at the beginning and just keep reading all the posts on one particular product until I finish. I do it on my break time at work and again before bed.
I do have another question.
Why do most of the regular, non sticky threads only go back like 6 months?
Where are all the older posts of this site hidden?

You're basically right... on both counts.
I also use CD cases to store many of my smaller photopolymer stamp sets, so those take up comparably less space.

There are almost 15 years worth of posts. You can expand any of the forum sections down at the bottom of the main page, where it says Display Options - just set the "From The" option to "Beginning" to see all the posts of all time.

Some people switch them out for clear pockets for that reason. Just yell if you want more info - there are on-line videos, threads here, etc. My stamps from a wide variety of companies, including some Stampin Up, are all in Avery Elle pockets in a system similar (not identical) to Jennifer McGuire's, a well-known stamper/organizing guru who has videos about her system.

Ah HA! Found it! Thank you for your help fellow Missourian!
