Thank you for including this project. I have just taken about 4 dozen cards to a local Navy mom who is supporting the troops with priority boxes of goodies as well as sending them cards. So my stash is kind of cleared out - but I will certainly send to this befor3e long.
Friends who are members of the local VFW Auxilliary and I are hosting a cardmaking/note writing event on Nov. 18 to send cards to OCC. The ladies do this twice a year as part of their community project requirement. This will be our third time sending to OCC all because I found the info on Split Coast.
Many thanks for wonderful cards for Operation Quiet Comfort:
K.B., Cary NC
Brenda B - Please thank your son-in-law for his service
Julia A, Saugus MA
Loretta O, St Louis, MO
If you've mailed cards and I haven't acknowledged receipt, just ask me about it. I may not have known it was a Splitcoast card but I do keep a list of who I receive from.
Were the Crockett Texas one from me? They would be 5 cards with the dog in a scalloped circle with the sentiment - You make me so happy, I could wag my tail. Then there were three others that were one layer cards with the dog on the front and a paw print.
If you could let me know I would appreciate it. Thanks,
Pat

Hi Pat, I don't believe I received your cards yet; I've gone through the stash. I have received cards with snoopy in a circle with a thank you message. The crockett TX envelope did not have a name on or in it which is why I posted only the city/state.
But when I looked in your gallery, I did see the cards you made with the soldier/stars - embossed lines. I received those.
I live in a small town and mail doesn't always arrive quickly. Its taken 5 days for me to send something to NY.

FYI: I will be out of town visiting family until the 14th. Please continue to send your cards as my mail will be picked up. I'll acknowledge receipt when I return home. Thanks in advance! All your cards are fantastic. I do think I need to buy myself a Cricket!
Hi Diane, I think it is so nice that you take the time to let the senders know their cards arrived. I did not see my name, didn't get them back so believed they made it. However, I didn't indicate they were Splitcoast either. If you have note of receiving 4 cards from Palm Bay, FL I'd be happy to know they arrived. Either way I plan to send more as I have military in my family, past and present.
