On 09.10.16, Covington Crafter and I attended the 2016 Heirloom in Chehalis WA.
Although the number of venders weren't many, one of the items I found was a plastic case by Tessler Stamps for my DIY daubers!
Downsizing has never been much of a problem for me, so when I found that the case I purchased was a few wells short of the daubers I had, I still knew I could make it work. The two reasons were:
1) some colors I had never liked
2) some colors were either a hue lighter or darker than the one I chose to keep.
The first pic is of the case alone and the second is how I chose to manage my daubers.
Enjoy!

I have several of these....for different inks. And an old candy tin for the big ones. I put little labels directly on my daubers so when they are on the table out of this box I know what color they are.

It's a great box, isn't it? I found an on-line pdf with a chart that fits on the inside lid for color coding. If someone wants a link I'll find it again. Maybe scrapbook.com? But Roberta's is prettier.
I started organizing but didn't finish, because the daubers show colors well, so I use them for the same color family. (And because I procrastinate and am lazy.)
So the light yellow stained dauber is used for light yellow inks, and the darker yellow dauber for darker yellows, and so on. As long as they're dry, there's no ink transfer.
When using lighter to darker colors, I add a dauber, so might have 3-4 turquoises that go light to dark.
Oh, bjeans! You rock!!! Thank you so much for sharing the pdf link! I was wondering how I was going to replace my outdated color chart. Thanks again!💃🎶💃
I use a lot of Stampin' Up Inks...so I have used my Brother P-Touch Labeler to label each dauber with its ink name, i.e., SU-Ch. Cobbler. I have Memento Inks as well to use with my Copics...so if I've daubed with one of their color, I label it M-Tux. Black, etc. But...don't have a box because I've talked myself out of it a number of times. Right now they rest in sandwich bags with my triangle sponges. Bags are labeled Pinks/ Red, etc. keeping in color categories.
