Hello, Lisa here with your Ways to Use It challenge this week.
Ever since I was a girl I was raised around sewing and sewing related crafts. When I started doing paper crafts and saw that people were actually sewing on cards well I was back to my roots of sewing. I still love sewing and always look forward to a fee day to get some sewing done.
Today's challenge is to add something sewing related. So bring out those images and the stitching on your cards or create a beautiful quilted card.
I look forward to seeing your wonderful creations today.
Here is a link to our wonderfully stitched gallery: In Stitches
When you upload your card to the gallery be sure to use WT584 as the keyword. If you come back and share a link to your card here, it makes it easy for people to find you.
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
Check out these beautiful samples from Sabrina and two fantastic quilted cards from Cathy.
I know I said I'd make one with my cross-stitching PB mice. Well, guess what...I got side-tracked and made this instead!! Hurrah for a day off . WT584 Stitched By The Sea
Since the sewing machine & sewing stamps were already out decided to make a second card before heading off to work . . .This is for my mom (age 95) who still quilts twice a week, every week for the past 40 years!!!
Lisa this is a GREAT idea for a challenge and I really had fun! First time I used this die - I think I did pretty good on it, and I hope you all love it too.

Lisa- awesome challenge, thanks! On the road with the Yarn Shop Hop this week, so I attached some yarn as the embellishment for my card. Did some paper piecing and faux stitching with my green marker for my card- Stitched Grapes. Have a great day!

For my second card, went "swoosh" with my wasabi green inkpad against my white background- adding distressed double stamped waves panels- and a dc sentiment. Finished with a "stitched" ribbon border. Inspired by my short but very cool ferry ride yesterday in Western Washington. Here's Ocean Waves

As many sewing machines as I have, you would think I'd have stamps to reflect it, but I don't. However, I have this fun cross stitch stamp set. Cross stitch is something I used to enjoy doing. It was fun to have the excuse to get this stamp set out:
