Default Wow, scrapbooking sure is easier when I don't over think,

I follow a sketch, and EAT chocolate

I am making two albums for my twin nephews, sans pictures and journaling. I mail the layouts to my SIL and she adds that stuff at her leisure (leisure?!? She has three month old twins and a two year old daughter! And goes back to full-time work in a week!). I have been using sketches since I don't have pictures to inspire me. I can't believe how well this is going! I am telling myself to just do it, and not overthink it, don't try to make it perfect or think, "What would {admired scrapper} do?"

And then there's the chocolate. Always the key to success!

Happy scrappin', everyone!

Sketches and challenges take the thinking out and get the scrapping done!
I love when I am given the above and come up with my own twists and turns but the above give you the jump start.
Happy Scrapping back at you!
PS-Ditto on the chocolate!

Where do you all look for sketches? Do you have a favorite sketch challenge blog?

Well, I used to be a Club Scrap kit subscriber and they included papers with layout sketches on them. I have been using my binder of those. PageMaps was (is? I have not used them in awhile) a good source of sketches. And I know SCS has some right here - it was one of the weekly scrapbook challenges. I really enjoyed the SCS sketches.

Mojo Monday is a sketch card challenge, and all the sketches are available going back to 2010. Mojo Monday - The Blog

I'm not really a scrapbooker but I bet Pinterest will have oodles of scrapbook layouts. You can also try Page Maps, they have nine years worth of layouts.

Pagemaps is a great source. My other fave, tho no longer being updated, is Got Sketch. Also check Pinterest there are loads.

I love looking at the sketches here on SCS.

The Scrapbooking Forum (on SCS) has oodles of inspiration with weekly challenges too. You can lift a lot of ideas!

Pagemaps is another one of my favorites too!

Pinterest is another great resource. I just found this new site: Kiwi Lane Designs. they have some cute ideas.

Close to My Heart also has some great sketch books (for sale) and their annual idea books are loaded with inspiration!
