Personally, I would make a box envelope and then put the box envelope in a bubble envelope to insure that it would be safe. You can get them cheap at the dollar store.
I figure you've put a lot of work in it and want it in the perfect condition, that means a bit of extra postage. Always worth it in my eyes
I ship a lot of cards from Sweden to the States, and have done both ways with bubble wrap around the card in a box and the envelope. The box is the better way, but what I wanted to mention is one thing to keep in mind while shipping is your glue/adhesives. Make sure that they are the strong sort, otherwise regardless of how you send the card the flowers/embellishments can fall off.

Just a warning these kinds of cards are going to cost you a bit to mail. A padded envelope should do well. I have mailed small items to Philippines and it was really expensive. I then switched to flat cards.
Thanks! Everyone. For adhesive I use my Teresa Collins tape gun and glossy accents to attach flowers. Should I use something else? Its my best friend. She just moved back to the Philippines and I miss her. I dont mind paying extra.
In doing swaps I've found it best even when using a padded envelope to wrap the envelope all over (except where the metering goes) with shipping tape. What you are sending will be weather proof as well as a bit more P O machine proof.
