Question Opinion on selling old sets-foam mounted

Some of you would be thinking "Foam mounted?! Has she lost her mind?! Years ago SU used to give you the option of wood or foam mounted on some of the sets, foam of course being cheaper. I was, against my mom's wishes,
cheap and got several sets in the foam mounted. Now that so many things are going acrylic mount and one could easily take the rubber off of the foam and remount it for the acrylic systems do you think that it would be worth selling these old sets, possibly on ebay? I was just wondering what you all would think.

shameless bump.....

Thanks, serial!! I would do that if I thought that others would be interested. I don't want to "embarass" myself (not sure if that is the right word) and have others think that the foam mounted stuff is cr*ppy. I have been holding on to all of my SU sets but I think that it is time to give some of my babies their wings. I also have lots of other wood mounted sets that I am considering finding new homes for but I need my mom's blessing as she did give me quite a few, ok most of them, ok I'll probably give her a huge payback if I can make some money off of these.

More opinions? Thanks!

A few months ago my friend's daughter wanted to get rid of all of her stamping stuff. Rather than picking and choosing what to buy, I made an offer for everything. All the stamp sets were SU and there were a few foam ones. I didn't think there would be a market so didn't plan to sell them. Then I saw a post on ebay "Want it Now" from someone looking for foam mounted SU stamps. She bought one or two and then I listed the remaining sets and they sold. I have also seen BST from people wanting to purchase them for their children. They don't bring much but it's better than having them around doing nothing.

IMO rubber is rubber. I wouldn't worry about them being on foam. It's the design that matters most and they could always be remounted on wood if the user just had to have it.
