looking for larger calendar template

The 4X6 is a very popular size for stamping, but there's no room to write anything. The 8 1/2 X 11 is large enough for writing in, but it's too large to decorate.

I'm looking for grid style so you can write appointments in but smaller than a full size sheet of paper. I've Googled and haven't had much luck. I'd make my own in Print Shop or Creative Keepsakes, but they are older versions that won't run on my new computer arrgh!

Can anyone point me in the direction of a grid style that's about the size of a half sheet of paper? :confused:

I created my own (tiny - I wanted them for coasters) in Excel. It was fairly easy, and Excel should be compatible with your computer (probably came with it, even!) I've found that it was the easiest way to make sure each square in the grid was the same size, since you can adjust pixels for each column and row. You can also merge cells and add borders and things like that with little trouble. You can play around with it and do "Print Preview" to see how things are lining up and run test prints with the "fast draft" option to see if they're printing the way you want them to. Once you get the initial grid completed, you can just copy and paste to get six pages (two months per page) if you're filling the calendar in, or one page to print out blank grids if you plan to stamp to fill in the calendar. Taylored Expressions has a 6 x 6 that's nice. Last year I did a ful page and decorated the back of each page to go with the next month so when it's hanging the theme and month go together - does that make sense?

Thanks Sue and Cindy! I'll look at Taylored Exp. and if that doesn't work I'll make one using a table in word or Excel.

Guess what I'm putting on my Christmas list? The newest version of Print Shop in Walmart for 30 dollars It will work on new computers!

I made one the size I wanted in Word, using a table. Whew! It took a long time!!

I want it to hang or stand up on a desk. I need to make some kind of support out of heavy cardstock... still working on that. The right side has plenty of room to stamp, and there is a small space to write something if needed on the calendar grid. Each page is a half sheet of paper 8 1/2 by 5 1/2.
